I love how the bikes have different characteristics now and not just black vs chrome. Even down to the 107 / 114 / 117 engines and the compression ratios / engine characteristics. Lots of variety now. New ceo doing wonders for the brand.

I've yet to test the low rider ST due to the fact there's none to test because of pre sales only. The price point for these is awesome, lots of room for upgrades compared to a RG. Great bike but like it was mentioned in the video the different sized bags drive me crazy. They should have made them equal in size and personally I’d like bags Road Glide / Street Glide ST bags on this bike (top opening), a 2:1 exhaust or also split the exhaust on the left and right side and make it a true “mini bagger”.

Nice. Definitely strikes a balance between the "club" fairing and the full on road glide one. One thing you didn't mention is its stability. Handlebar mounted vs frame mounted. Visually it looks like the adaptation of the for types that have been out forever. If they do a dyna or even a sporty with this fairing with a taller ride height, well who knows.

Doodle's enthusiasm is great... watched her bagger rides and its always incredible how she rides bikes many are not confident on. All about out look. This is the first Harley I have been interested in since I last owned one in 2018. I never really got it, if you know what I mean. Owned both a Street Glide and Road King back to back. However having come from BMW neither felt all that great; the Road King was a M8 with "issues" but its handling was so much more confident than the 2016 Street Glide. So adding a fairing to a bike that weighs so much less than the tour models should be what I need. Figure the bags were an accounting issue that overrode designers. Also explains away HD being cheap and not having LED turn signals. Seriously HD, what year is it?

My thoughts are.. it’s $22k! That’s ridiculous. Even for Harley. It’s such a good looking bike, but I’d personally say the Road King is way better of a bike. They also have the Pan Am which is in another realm of better bike. I think my problem when Harley’s are up around $20k, which is most of them. There’s just so many bikes in that price range that are better in every way. So my issue is just price. I love Harley’s. I love mine.. I barely ride it. But it’s a great bike. It’s just not as good as my MT-09 so it doesn’t come out as often. But I do love it.

I was all hyped over the Indian Chief Sport then i watched an Urlacher video and found out how close the comparison was between it and the Lowrider along with it having a gallon bigger tank which is the most important thing to me . Then I watched the Lowrider ST reviews yours included and WOW. Now I have to get in some test rides. I'm coming off an FJR 1300 with a 6.6gallon tank with two bags which can hold a full face in each one! I'm really torn! I'm not riding for anyone but me and don't give a crap about the brand. I want the best bike for the best bang4buck. I'd rather spend my money on FOOD. The lowrider ST is looking very good considering the fact that Harley has dealerships EVERYWHERE! So a 200 mile range and dealers everywhere and Harley fit and finish?? Hmmmmm?? Maybe someone can do a "cost to own" video; maintainence, insurance etc. Best part of the video is Doodle hands down!!! @leesunga2 жыл бұрын
According to ML, not sure the 2020s are compatible with the new fairing. Something about how it's mounted, and the rake of the 2022 models being different than that of the 2020 models. Harley was smart in doing that, making sure it's the 2022 you lust after, and not just upgrade your 2020 to match the 2022s. I know I felt the pressure to trade my 2020 FXLRS with a RWD FXRT faring as soon as the first pics of the 2022 fairing leaked. Ended up trading. Feel like a lot of 2020 owners might end up doing the same.

My FXLRST was delivered last week. I love the bike with a few exceptions, and this is coming from an old bastard (50) with shot knees and a cracked tail bone. There are a few things that will definitely be changed ASAP. 1) The mid controls imo suck, mainly because my knees are shot like i stated above. Forward control kit on order (been waiting 2.5 months) Yes, i ordered the kit before i had the bike. I owned a 2020 LRS so i knew what i was getting into. 2) The seat is one hell of an ass killer after about 70 miles. Custom ordered a C&C seat with gel insert (Helps the cracked tail bone part) supposed to be delivered 5/11. 3) I will at some point (probably over the next long Minnesota winter) i will be installing some sort of taller riser, I'm 6 foot and the bars could be a little higher. probably go with the Thrashin Supply 9.5" risers. 4) i ordered the Harley taller wind shield, the wind coming off the stock fairing was hitting me right on top of the helmet. the stock windshield is Not bad, but not great! All in all, once i get the bike dialed in for me, it'll be one fine machine.
