John, that was a great video my AF Brother! It was cool to see the different content. I wasn't expecting this when I got my cup of coffee this morning to watch this. It was actually a very peaceful way to start the day. Motoring can be about so many things, but to see you get out in nature was pretty freakin awesome. Keep it up, and thankyou for always putting out great content. BTW, what was the knife you used? Mine "disappeared" in my last camping trip and I'm looking at getting another straight bladed knife. Ride safe!

OMG! Brother that was off the hook, epic content! Man o’ man, if you have plans for doing more camping off Mad Max in ‘23 across the USA, You have a great year ahead; throwing down miles, camping and seeing our Country’s incredible landscape. Not to mention the incredible experiences you’ll enjoy. Listen, I hope you do a follow up video discussing the items you took on the campout, how everything held up, anything you’d change. Did you have a pad under your sleeping bag? Love how you park the bike close to the tent. Drives me nuts to see guys park 100 feet or more away. By the way, that boat ripping down the river, I’m certain he had Khrome Werks exhaust; heard him for quite some time. LOL!

Looks like the Delaware River area . I’m from Pa. originally outside of Philly and the Pocono Mtn area which is a great area for riding . If your ever in that area go through a village called Canadensis then either go through Promised Land State Park or go to New Foundland . Either way you can get up to Lake Wallenpaupack and explore that area when you have time in the spring summer or fall . From Easton Pa. Follow route 611 to Stroudsburg, Pa. Then follow directions to Canadensis and on . Another nice ride is from Easton south on 611 along the river to New Hope . You’re probably familiar with some of these areas since you visit Nazareth. I enjoy your channel. It reminds me of home since I’ve lived in Arizona for twenty years .

This was great. When traveling I do the tent camping thing. Here are some things I do. I don't use tent stakes. The weight of my gear holds the tent down. I started out using an army foam sleeping pad then upped my game with a self inflating air mattress. I put a ground tarp under my tent to help keep the dirt and debris off the bottom of my tent. I use an inflatable pillow to save space. Before I set up camp I eat my dinner at a local restaurant or eat a can of ravioli, spaghetti O's or the like. I take my seat off and put it in the tent. That way there's no condensation/dew on it in the morning. I take old clothes that are worn out that I don't need anymore. Wear them for a couple of days then throw them away. I try to get a site that has a pic nic table. It's easier to roll things up by not bending over. In the mornings after packing up I head to the gas station and top off and get my cup of coffee (sometimes free). Can't wait for the Spring to start more of my travels. Hope you do more moto camping videos and hope some of my ideas work for you.

Everybody has their fit. I prefer no running boards, and opt for forward control pegs. HD makes a forward control conversion kit for $200 or so. Have traveled 10’s of thousands on miles on road trips and wouldn’t set up my bike any other way. But that’s what we do, ride and decide what is most comfortable.
