Suspension is the most overlooked part of setting up a bike and most overlooked in the cruiser world. Getting the sag and compression and rebound settings correct for your weight and riding style is HUGE! Doesn't matter how much power you have if you can't utilize it.

Happy Veterans Day John, thank you and all Veterans for defending our great Country. I agree, anything over a Stage 2 and you're going to have to start upgrading engine internals and cooling. I still feel Max is a good setup for more power...Trust me, mid-teens Hp and Tq is good, but just a little to little for a loaded up 850lb touring bike and it gets boring after not too long. With some smart internal upgrades the M8 can me made super reliable and be putting down around 130hp\135tq .

Thank you for your service. I have a 2015 Street Glide Special denim black and I added the same color tourpack to it. The original seat is wearing out and that seat that you have I think would put a nice contrast to it. I live in Port Saint Lucie Fl. In moved from Brooklyn then to Coram Long Island and my home is in Port Saint Lucie Fl. I’m down here for almost 30yrs. I drove from Coram back to Forest Hills Queens. 6 days a week working for a Zenith authorized TV repair shop anyway my 2yr. Older brother then taught me how to ride mini bike and then I new I would be riding my my hole life. He also bought a fox go cart with a McCullough 70 engine worked out. We used to take it out to aqueduct racetrack on the weekend and we raced it in the parking lot I was hooked forever so I riding motorcycles from 13 till today and I get a new 2015 Harley Street Glide Special Denim Black. I’m 72 yrs old now and I’m thinking about a new one. They look so beautiful and I like there new braking system. Anyway I like that White seat you are selling. Would you be able to ship that to me and how much do you want for it. Thanks Cliff Peranio

John... the hand grip shields are very practical. It doesn't takeaway the cool factor in my opinion. I would get em' too. I used the Bung King aluminum lift block and it isn't the best look, but it gives the bike the stock lean back. You have to drill through the foot of the kick stand and it took a little patience and a busted drill bit before I had both holes drilled, but the lift block does it's job.

Love everything you you decided to custom as well as what you decided not to custom. That’s a killer road glide, stands out even though it’s black. Only 130 days til spring😉 Agree with staying stage 2, anything more means more maintenance and higher chance of breakdown. I still think you should upgrade the compensator. You make it to through Minnesota next summer, give me a shoutout & I’ll tour ya through 👍🏻

I formed out a 1” block of Lexan to extend my kickstand. It works great and a bonus was that it takes all the punishment from the ground instead of my kickstand. Drilled a couple of holes in the kickstand and threaded them to 1/4-28 thread then a couple of countersunk holes in the Lexan block and fabbed the stainless bolts to finish flush with the upper surface of the jiffy-stand. Looks and works great!

Im 6"2 as well and did the rear shocks to a 13 inch and getting ready to do the front suspension. It is a world of difference in ride when the suspension is tuned to you style. By far it should be the 1st thing riders do is set your suspension up and the bike will be a whole new ride it will feel like a feather and fall in and out of the corners with such ease and give you as a rider alot of confidence to handle twisted roads. It dont matter what bike it is tune that suspension to your bodyand riding style

I just got my suspension in last week from Fox! First time doing suspension on my RG and im excited to see what everyone has been talking about. I always do a 6” windscreen because I wear a full face helmet now so wind is no longer a concern. My personal preference is to have that sleek look over the high windscreen. Also have the S&S 475C paired w/ Thundermax and it’s getting dyno’d as well. Bars and risers from L.A Choppers. My RG ST is almost ready for spring! Good video!

This is what every bike channel should be doing.Forget the free shit..the sponsored shit.Take what you need, put it on the bike and make it what makes a good ride.....NOT what makes it a sponsored ride. That why I asked what makes it "better" than Silverback.....because it has what every "average" rider needs.....suspension,comfort and a little extra power....excellent job on the build. And you are right....if you want to ride 1000's of miles....think of the breakdowns....they are going to happen....and what if they do?who you gonna call?

I have the S&S 465 torque cam in my 19 Tri Glide, totally change the dynamics of the Trike, we do a lot of 2-up riding, torque comes on at 1500 rpm and climbs to 130 torque at 3000 rpm, feels like I need a 7th gear at highway speeds though. I have to be careful can pull the front wheel in second gear cracking on it - no steering lol

How does it feel going from floor boards to pegs ? for performance.. I can TOTALLY see the benefits in what u did with the Arlen ness mid controls. Those pieces look absolutely amazing in quality. I was on a bike the other day with no floor board and it felt so foreign to me even after just 2 years of floor boards (20k miles in 2 years .. once u go HD touring bike .. no going back. The fatboy was dope but the FLHR is really doing it for me) *one day I’d love to go to a Glide. Having coms and navigation .. YES!!! I hate those bar mounted phone holders. I keep mine away in a saddlebag unless it’s needed. Not to mention battery dying with each mile. Loving the bike I was thinking doing the 124 upgrade. But I think I wanna try some proper suspension and see how that feels. Prob just the rear for now. I can get them on myself. And those remote reservoirs look the business!!!
