I have the RoadGlide and a DCT Goldwing RoadGlide great for day runs, ripping it up in Daytona But for long trips Goldwing hands down. I road from Daytona to KeyWest in 7 1/2 hours and went out that night, no fatigue. Granted not as exciting a Harley but its fast and smooth

Remember that’s an eight thousand dollar motor which cost the dealership four thousand dollars. See if you can negotiate price with Harley by telling them you’ll put the install on your vlog.👍

I wrecked my SG bad a few weeks back. I got hurt bad. The bike was totaled. Doing rehab and healing and I will walk again. Broken shoulder, back, and feet, one required surgery. In May I'm headed to the showroom and the Road Glide ST is in my sights. I lobe the idea of the 135, but to be completely honest, the 117 is going to be more than enough.

Good point about the cvo. I have a road glide limited and I'm really happy with it stock. The price difference for the cvo isn't worth it to me. Mine is the snake venom color that gets many compliments. I enjoy how quiet and smooth it is!

117 ST is plenty enough. It comes with performance cams from the factory. It feels way different than a normal 117. I can only imagine with 135. Very nice video.

Great content about the bikes. I agree 100% about the cvo to be left alone. Loved every time you got on the throttle of the 135 your laughter told the whole story. I also believe in my opinion only that the 135 is a better resale value than these bigger engine kits because it’s from the factory.. I hope Harley sends you one John because you deserve one

Great video! That 135 is going to be a big seller. You are 100% correct about loud exhaust on a long ride. I had a very loud stereo and exhaust on my last bike. Af r er riding around east tennessee mountains for a day, i got bacl to the hotel and my ears were ringing for about 15 minutes. I thought i made myself deaf. On the new bike i went with khromewerks because it is a deeper sound and not as harsh on the ears. However, when you left their booth in daytona, that exhaust on mad max is awesome and very loud.

Great review on both bikes. I have a 2019 CVO RG and a 2021 CVO Ultra, and love them both. Have Khrome Werks mufflers with inserts, cd led lights and that's it for mods. I love my CVO's, but for power, the Triumph Rocket 3 is the most exhilarating motorcycle I have ever owned. 160hp and around the same torque right out of the box and a thrill to ride. Too old for that now thought, so the Harleys will be it till the end... Keep the great video's coming my friend...

yes, yes you would! My 131 produces 120hp and 130 torque and I outgrew that 8,000 miles ago. Time for a cam and tuner upgrade after warranty expires

In my opinion, there is no point in modifying or customizing a cvo model. It is a collector's vehicle, modifying it loses value. And to be honest, the cvo models of the last few years are all gorgeous, this year's models have spectacular colors. Another success for Harley Davidson, although, it must be said, the prices are totally off the charter. Another beautiful video, the footage is great. Hi from Italy.

Life expectancy is so short on a Harley when you break the engine in properly. I can only imagine how much damage is being done romping on it and over revving.

Depending on the temperature you may have caught a glimpse of hoodies and Knee High Boots… Floridians go all out if it gets to about 60 degrees in the winter gear, that only sees the light of day 2 or 3 times a year. 😂

I completely agree with your opinion about the CVO. I wouldn’t get one myself because I need handlebars and extended reach everything. The thought of paying the price and then adding parts does not make sense to me. If somebody takes that route, great from them…..but I see it like you and fellow commenters.

I thought that was one of your best videos you have made. I couldn’t agree more on the CVO a different windshield some slip ons and there you have it. I’m not ready either. You are spot on with the CVO. I'm in my mid 50's and can now afford the CVO at this point in my life and I like it just the way it is. Well mine has the 131 stage IV but everything else is stock. In comparison, my street glide which has a stage IV with the Khrome Werks exhaust and sound awesome but after I rode it to Daytona this year, my ears were ringing after the 600 mile day of riding. I'm really enjoying the channel and content.

I thought my wife's new Breakout with 117 is amazing. The new 117 ST (CVO engine) is perfect. IMO way better than CVO. Let's face it, those added accessories are not for everyone's taste and the ST costs less, powerful and you can spend your money on accessories the way you want it to be. The Breakout is great with 117 now, but when I got the New Street Glide ST, it's even runs better with performnace cams from the factory. I made a deal with the delear to install stage II SE street Cannon, PowerVision, SE Ohlins exclusive reservoir shocks for Harley, Trask Performance and Dominion Bronze collection all around on a Sand Pearl Paint. Wow!!! Just wow, for mostly Harley parts and not too modified.....best I've ever done since my Vrod Muscle. Sounds deep yet not too obnoxious, looks elegant with the pearl paint with bronze accents, Harley is finally getting it. If anything I would just leave it alone or if you can afford the 135 and still get that factory warranty. Harley is back!

you got to keep your warranty... with a power vision on your bike?
@ixibladeixi2639
@ixibladeixi2639 9 ай бұрын
Yes, my dealer said if they install it they will take care of it. I guess it depends on your dealer. They even install the jackpot header as long as I keep the SE cannon exhaust. I'm thinking to dyno tune it next month, it'll run way better than power vision and make more responsive.

John while you were down in Florida should have reviewed this company called leg up they build what most call landing gear for those who want to keep their two wheel bikes yet because of either age or injuries they need a little help keeping their bike upright when at a stop. The two legs one on each side can be turned on or off depending on the rider they have a speed sensor that when the bike get down to 5 mph the legs come.down and when the bike goes past 5 mph the legs go up and tuck under or near the saddlebags
