Harley-Davidson Sportster S Modifications | Mid-Control Kit

S2 E14: For a 2022 Harley-Davidson Sportster S, we provide step-by-step instructions to relocate the left and right rider foot pegs and foot controls from the original equipment forward position to a mid-position. Using HD's conversion kit, we go to a more-aggressive foot position for comfort and cornering confidence.
This is part of a modification series to the HD Sportster S that includes mid-controls, air filter, and horn installation. Also, new custom paint.

Wish you would have shown how to disconnect the fuel line. You said that there is a quick disconnect, and there is not at least not on my Sportster S. And I removed everything you guys did.

I have to admit, there were times where it was a little bit of a challenge. Mostly with the brake lines. If you decide to try to tackle it yourself, send us any questions you may have. Glad you liked the video.

Having trouble taking the tank off. How do I disconnect the fuel line?? Iv taken off the 1250 plastic and see the lines. But how do you disconnect it?

linkage could have been ez to move forward; mid or full like kawasaki vulcan S did; But this makes more money for HD

Great video! well done as always. Question, why changing from forward controls to mid controls? Aren't the forward controls more comfortable for cruising?

The acceleration of the Sportster forces your bum to slide backwards. Chad was thinking that this foot placement would better plant him in the seat as he races around town. For tall guys, like me (6'2"), I prefer the forward controls.

We got lucky. Ordered them directly form HD website and took about a week in delivery. Purchased these back in March 2022 before a lot of these parts started becoming backordered.
