I have a V Rod since 2014, I have done 40,000km, it's the best bike I've ever had, I love it, it has attitude it doesn't go unnoticed, no bike does has never received so many positive feedback from other riders, for me it is perfect, powerful, it meets my need every time I ride, I have a smile on my face

I've had my '09 V-Rod Muscle for about 1.5 years and do enjoy it as I'm getting too old for my 929. Best thing I did to it was Bud's Risers. Just wish more people rode where I live!

It's crazy! It's the first bike to ever do that to me...Harley and Porsche killed it 🔥 Thank you for watching 🤟🏾

I have 2015 VR with 5k miles, I totally agree, is fun and plenty of power, all you can expect of a Porsche engine design, this bike is not slow and heavy like any other Harleys but is not perfect is 3 things I hate about this bike, 1 the forward controls you find yourself in some kind of C weird position, 2 you need a gorilla grip for manage the hydraulic clutch in city traffic and 3rd has only 5 speeds, the bike is pure power you feel it need more gears.
@FastLaneD4 жыл бұрын
I agree with you on all of those! The C position looks badass, but can get uncomfortable after awhile. The clutch is heavy AF 🤣 And I would also LOVE a 6 speed versus the 5. I understand why they did it though. Thank you for watching!

Just found this, and currently hunting a Vrod. Great video.

I absolutely love everything about this bike. It maintains an HD soul with Porche performance without all the drawbacks of the Sportster I sold. Check it out: everyone talks about how the gauge cluster looks different. Google images of "Porche gauges" and tell me if you find any similarities.
@FastLaneD4 жыл бұрын
AHHHHHH it makes sense now! I can definitely see the similarities in the speedometer...good catch! 👊🏾

Did the passenger seat and backrest came with it when you bought it? If not, then what's the brand and where can I find those passenger seat and backrest for the V-rod?
@FastLaneD4 жыл бұрын
Yes, it came with the bike when I bought it! It's got "Harley Davidson" stamped on the luggage rack so I'd assume the previous owner bought it at the dealership

Funny thing is, if I'm going over 90MPH on the VRod, I have to hold on for dear life! Seriously! Your body position is that of a parachute. When on my Concours14, I can ride 120+ MPH only using one hand. The VRod definitely is a bar hopper/bump around town bike. Not good for distance at all due to riding position and fuel mileage. Plan on stopping for fuel every 100 miles.

It can be done, but there are definitely better suited bikes! Its more comfortable than a sport bike, but still has an aggressive seating position for a cruiser. After about 4 hours I start to feel a little discomfort

Man I'm really sorry you're feeling the racism just by riders not saluting you. If it's of any consolation, they maight just be pricks. I'm white and sometimes dont get a salute back. I'm hoping they're just too self-absorbed by their riding to care about others. Been riding a friend's CTX700 all summer and it gave me the itch to ride again (I had a 262 2003 Ninja before). I hate harleys. I hate chrome. Yet I found exactly that on the cheap at a local dealer and for some reason, this bike calls me and this is how I ended up here looking at your video. Ride safe. Thanks for your review.
