I had buckhorn bars on my first Harley a 76 Sportster. They were out of nine bikes in my life the best bars I had ever owned. They felt right , and I thought they looked great. I built that Sportster into a Bobber, and the only thing original that I left were the bars. To each his own,but my favorites.

You are correct about the Buckhorn handlebars. I just had a 83 FXR Super glide II in my shop (Nov. 2020) and it is very stock with the original buckhorns. The guy who owns it is planning to do all kinds of modifications to it. I told him to sell it like it is and buy what he wants since that bike is a bike someone will want to restore. I just rebuilt the S&S carburetor replaced the intake gaskets and replaced the clamps. I replaced the broken exhaust bolts and put new James gaskets in. I adjusted the lifters and have it running good now. It has a shifter issue from warn out linkage but the dude didn't want to spend the cash to fix it. T Oil is leaking out of the transmission but it looks like it is coming from the shifter seals no big deal.

The Evo-Engine was, to a great extent, developed by Porsche in Weissach/Germany. Long-lasting, simple, good sounding engines. Compared to them, the Twin-Cam was pretty flawed. Unfortunately, the youngest big Evo-Harleys are now 25 years old. By the way: Why did Harley discontinue the Buckhorn bars? I had one on my Sportster, and it was wonderfully comfortable.

I have a question, I am new in this world of the bikes and theres something that I want to understand. In your opinion, what is so unique about HD that you ain't going to find in other brands, becuase don't get me wrong , I love HD, especially the 883, but saying that it is the best bike these days, I feel that is not so true, but hey I am new in these world! by the way I like your channel.

I can see changing pipes or pegs on a regular dyna. But I can't understand why the previous owner would alter a limited edition? Kinda like repainting a factory stock Shelby mustang with Rustoleum spray paint. The value goes 👇

My feeling on this bike are - ‘just cause there’s only 1700 doesn’t make it cool’ - that’s my probably with a lot of Harley’s that are numbered for events or things like this, like look at the paint so dated, even some cvos paint from only a dozen years ago look dated, obviously just my opinion if someone buys and loves it all the power to them

No in this case. Its not that its a numbered bike. Its just cool looking. Easy to ride. Comfortable . And the Evo is a good engine. Smoother than a early shovel.
