I have a 2018 Forty Eight and I'm in the process of doing an S&S 1250 with forged S&S flat top pistons, Feuling HP+ lifters, Feuling Endurance valve springs, Hammer Performance pushrods, Buell bronze oil pump gear, Dynatek EFI ignition coil and TMF chain conversion along with some more gloss black engine parts to work alongside my Feuling reaper 505/515 cams,Vance and Hines FP3, Vance and Hines stainless 2-1 upsweep, some SE plugs and plug wires. I already built the front and rear suspension with Progressive 490 sport series shocks and Progressive adjustable monotube cartridge kit and a Daytona steering damper and my clutch with Barnett plates, Barnett billet pressure plate and a barnett 25% diaphram spring rooted to some 1FNGR levers, and of course front and rear 11.5 floating Brembo rotors and pads, with radial Tokico calipers (upgrading to Brembo) and brackets to fit the radial calipers and larger rear brake rotor, braided lines, XR1200 master cylinder and I am sure there is lots more (I have 2 fuel gauges, a tach, oil temp/level gauge, seat, bars, mid controls, carbon fiber front and rear fender, and carbon fiber side panels) After all this work I can't wait to rip it this season!

A question for you or for Chris You basically have a new engine you’re going to take it into the Dino room and run it hard run it through its paces You buy a new bike and then the dealership tells you to Break it in before you run it hard So I guess my question is why wouldn’t you break in your bike the way you will write it if you’re going to be the one that runs it hard why would you break it in soft does that make sense
