Can I just say that I love black comedy romance like this. I don't know if there's anything better than the combination of traditional fluffy supportive relationships and casual criminal violence. It completely flips the idea of evil on its head, by giving the power of love to the villains. It's such a beautiful twist that is so underutilized in fiction.

Ngl had to drop the show after second season. I know they’re villains, but it’s still not fun to see shitty people doing shitty things to other people and then get rewarded for it (mostly talking about Kite-man obviously).

You know, by the time they finish season 4, which should be in about 20 weeks, it’s very likely the upcoming Kite-Man spin-off show will be out. Hopefully they’ll react to that as well.

Animation has a different union than screen actors. Whilst many actors will be part of both unions, the animation union has not called for a joint strike/boycot, as there would be no point because they don't have a contract to negotiate (i.e, its not about to end).

I love the Harley Quinn show, but my comment/question has to do with COMMUNITY. Why did you stop watching Community? Your last reaction was weeks ago and was the end of season 3. What about 4,5 and 6? No explanation, you just appeared to have stopped, mid way thru. What's the deal? "Six seasons and a movie" 😆

Because of the strikes. Shows like Community were made before these current strikes, but still fall under that same category of content with how it’s made and who made it. Because of that, Blind Wave have stopped a lot of their show reactions for the time being, until these strikes get resolved.

I realize that actors would get residuals for the show...but here's the confusion to me...Blindwave just started Harley...why is that different? Yes, it's animated, but it still involves writers and voice actors. What is the metric for react/don't react? I am in full support of the writers&actors and I'm not really mad (disappointed...yes) but really just confused by the prohibition of a decade old program, but Harley is currently running 😳

@@caseybean1305 The reason why they also stopped Community is because they stopped watching all shows that could be connected to these strikes, which means most live action shows. It doesn’t matter how long ago it was, them reacting to it can still count as promoting content that these writers and actors made under these companies with the same sort of conditions, so until they get a fair deal, anything the falls under those same guidelines counts as content they don’t want to promote. The reason something like Harley Quinn is different is entirely because it’s animated. Most animated shows fall under different Unions for the people who made it and those Unions aren’t currently striking, so watching and promoting them doesn’t count as crossing the picket line. It’s the same reason they keep reacting to Ben 10 and why they added Vox Machina back into their schedule. Since most animated content falls under different Unions, they’ve changed their schedule to be reacting to mostly that sort of content as to not cross the picket line by promoting content actors and writers are currently striking for.
