Easy week... But you're right, Links are an important upgrade! I'm surprised you kept the PLASTIC Links on for so long. That speaks volumes about the improved quality of the plastic that Axial has been using!!! 👍👍 Hopefully someday I can afford one of these Honchos, and get to building!! BODY IDEAS - how about some Body DAMAGE? Dents, Rust, Scratches.... It's still too pretty - and TAN!! Or you could do the Chris approach, as you said... You just throw in a bunch of four letter words - and Mind-Blowing Paint!! Carmine 🚂

It's a needed upgrade & can't see how you could've made it any better than it is. Another great video in a wicked build series!

Really enjoying this build. Even though it's not always exciting it is tasks that have to be done to make the rig great.

For paint ideas, it would be cool to see something weathered or dented, or different colored body panels.

Nice upgrade for this week. I run those same ones on mine. I do like them a lot. 👍🏼👍🏼

Nice upgrade for this budget build looking forward to seeing what you go with the body next.

Are they a direct fit on the this Honcho? Or is there going to be some modification.

So glad you went with stainless instead of aluminum....not just the benefit of the weight but it runs over rocks better than aluminum. To bad we didn't have a medal that slid over rocks as good as the plastic does.

Going to order these exact links for my Honcho. I love Vanquish products

If you can find an replace the one plastic gear in the tactic servo I would say it’s a must. I did for mine and been best $9.99 spent on it.
@HarleyDesignsInc7 жыл бұрын
I definitely want to replace the servo, I want something closer to the 400oz/in range and as close to 0.12sec as possible.

Cant go wrong with incision links they are awesome upgrade considering its 10 pc(have them on my scx2)
@tpalshadow7 жыл бұрын
You should do a paint job like the Red Bull F1 release digital camo.
@kevinvelasquez42905 жыл бұрын
I bought the same links, and I put them together, measured up with the Stock Plastic Links the incision links are noticeably shorter. Did you have to leave threads showing on the links in order to install them ?
@renobob77817 жыл бұрын
Good morning, Links a much needed upgrade. Already been installed on my scx10. What ever happened with the Traxxas 24t gear? When are they going to start putting the right gear. in the kit? I don't want to buy it and stop 10 minutes in. Later

I know this is a rtr and it’s interesting to see the changes you are making to give others ideas but we are 8 weeks in and 400$ into upgrades how many weeks are you guys doing. Did you set a final budget for the upgrades or weeks.

Good show about it looking forward to the next one and really happy to see some facial hair coming back in. Seeing you in so many of your videos with the beard it was really weird seeing you with that one. Now if that offended you I'm sorry I am Canadian and we don't go around offending people on purpose.

Question, the pan hard bar end link is making contact with my servo horn, any ideas on how to fix this?
@HarleyDesignsInc6 жыл бұрын
I discuss this in earlier videos as well. Depending on your servo or servo Horn you can space it up. The Vanquish servo Horn is also low profile and helps with clearance and strength.

Harley Designs awesome, thanks for the speedy reply. I'll give it a try.

What is the difference in the scx10 universals vs the scx10 2 that they won't work in the scx10 and how can you make them work? Also when is vanquish going to have the scx10 vvd s in?
@HarleyDesignsInc7 жыл бұрын
The rotation point of the joint is different, they are not a compatible. Making them work isn’t really an option. VVD’s will be in before long but I can’t give an exact date.

@BudgetRC_Channel7 жыл бұрын
With respect to next week's paint ideas, have you considered doing a simple paint job and supplimenting it with some sort of vinyl wrap or decals? Hemistorm did something like that using the included camo decals on his Honcho. I did something similar with my Bomber and Gen7 using Kryptek pattern vinyl. It's cheap and easy, but gives a real custom look. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaaVpKmona6XiLs
