I had a similar experience, didn't know I was pregnant and gave birth in my bath tub at home. The EMT that delivered my baby boy was named Matt and he had made a comment asking what I was going to name him and that Matt was a pretty cool name, Matt with two ts. While in the hospital deciding on a name we looked up the meaning of the name Matthew, and it meant gift from God. So we named him Matthew after the EMT who delivered him. It was a perfect fit! 😊

@@user-vq2ho5jn7k wow, how sweet of you to ask. It's called a cryptic pregnancy. I had a baby already previously, so he was my second. I know what it feels like to be pregnant. I would have noticed if the symptoms were there, but they werent. I have a very light menstrual cycle regularly. During this pregnancy I still bled lightly every month as normal. I had only gained 10 pounds through the whole pregnancy and I didn't show at all until the month before giving birth when I missed my first period and just started suspecting maybe I was pregnant. When I went into labor we all thought it was a miscarriage until a full term healthy baby popped out. Every pregnancy is different. You shouldn't discourage anyone for their experience, especially one as traumatic as mine was. Thanks for your concern.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share some good news with you all. Let's just put it this way, the Ten Commandments are called the Moral Law. Ask yourself this. How many lies have you told? Have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever used God's name in vein? Have you ever hated someone or ever looked with lust? This is for you to judge yourself, but chances are that you are a lying, thieving, blasphemous, fornicating, adulterer at heart and you HAVE to face God on judgement day. Now ask yourself this. If God judges you on judgement day by these Commandments, will you be innocent or guilty? Of course you'll be guilty because we've all done these things. The truth is that none of us are good people and we NESD God's grace to make it to heaven. We judt simply cannot do it on our own. These Commandments arecalled the Moral Law. You and I broke the law, Jesus payed the fine. So now what we must do to be saved is to repent of our sins and trust alone in Jesus Christ! To repent doesn't mean to just say I'm sorry, but to turn from our sins and let Him truly be our Lord continually. He said that many will say to Him, Lord, Lord I have done all of these things for you. And He will say I never knew you. Depart from Me, ye who work iniquity! And those will be cast into outer darkness and raging hellfire and loneliness for all of eternity!!! Because we broke His law, He is very, very just to send us to hell. If someone had murdered 4 people and said to the judge, I've done nice things too and have tried to treat people nice but it was just one time, the judge would then say, okay but you're going to jail. And the judge is very just to do that. One last thing, if you were 10,000 feet in the air and you had to jump, you wouldn't jump out and flap your arms and try to save yourself. That's ridiculous! You would put on the parachute. It is the same with Jesus. You must trust Him as you trust the parachute. We are not good and we cannot save ourselves with our own goodness. We must trust alone in Him to save us. In just a moment of time you can pass from death to life. Jesus said, "Verily, verily I say unto you, you must be born again." That is how we enter heaven. Through the blood and grace of Jesus Christ!!!!✝️If you ask someone how to enter Heaven, they will most likely say, "Be a good person." Well the Bible says that none is good, no not one. We like to compare ourselves to guys like Hitler and say, "Hey, I'm a pretty good guy compared to him." But when we compare ourselves to God's standard, we realize that the Bible speaks truth when it says that we all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God!!! When we see this ( our sin in its TRUE light), we see how much trouble we are in and we say, "Well then there's nothing I can do. I'm going to hell for sure then." It's true that there is nothing that WE can do, but there is something that has already been done for you! God sent His One and Only Son to die on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins! So to recieve that eternal sweet sweet forgiveness, all we must do is repent of our sins (meaning to continually turn from them and confess them) and trust alone in Christ as you trust a parachute. If I was to push you out of an airplane, you'd want the parachute for sure! Don't try to flap your arms and save yourself, trust in the parachute! His finished work on the Cross IS ENOUGH!! He is the only way to Heaven, He said it Himself!! These other religions teach that we must he good and do good things and then maybe if we've been good enough, we will enter Heaven. But if that is true then we are all doomed to eternal hell because none of us are good. That's why this makes sense. Look at the Ten Commandments, they are written on your heart right now!! I promise that you have violated them. And you might still be doing that today. Therefore God is just to poor out His wrath on us because we deserve it!! But Christ died for us so that we can spend eternity in Heaven with Him! Turn to Him today, and He and only He will save your soul "Verily, verily I say unto you, you must be born again ( to go to Heaven)."✝️The true joy of Christ dwells in me!! Does it in you? I know where I'm going when I die! Do you? I have an ETERNAL victory! Do you? I have more joy than ever because of what Christ has done. I have been down both roads. The road of the wicked and the road of Christ. Christ is way better and my cup runneth over with true joy and salvation. If you do not know the One true God and are not sure of your salvation, I promise He will never fail you. Turn to Him in repentance and faith. Repent means to confess and forsake your sins, never turning back to them. I tried changing on my own but I couldn't. It took the power of Christ on the inside of me to do it for me. He will give you a new and clean heart with new and clean desires and you shall be born again. A new creation in Christ Jesus! Hallelujah!! Jesus said in order to enter the Kingdom of God, you must be born again! Thank you Lord Jesus!✝️

Also had real bad nausea for many months, followed by reflux for the last several weeks. Both my babies were 7-10 days overdue though. Then 23hr labour with 1st baby & 16hr labour with 2nd. But I got a professional doula with the 2nd baby which made the world of difference. Anyway, looking at your kid, you feel like it was all worth it. 😊

A girl I went to school with got pregnant her senior year. She worked so hard for her daughter and was so excited to be a mommy. She was diagnosed with preeclampsia. The doctor did not induce her or even keep her in the hospital. He just sent her home. Her mom found her having a seizure. At the hospital, they delivered her baby. Kept mom and baby on life support. But after a few days baby passed away. And a few days later the girl passed away. They forced the doctor into retirement for his negligence. This was heartbreaking for the community.

I was in high school my first pregnancy and was later diagnosed with preeclampsia too . I kept telling my doc my feet are killing me walkin around at school because my feet were so swollen at 26 or 27 weeks preggo and he said you’re fine . Well then the headaches came so I went into the doc and boom he realized what I had and had to do a emergency c section immediately within 1-2 days because I was getting worse and worse . Thank God it was caught in time but just imagine if it wasn’t . He even said I could die or my baby could die if they wait any longer for the baby to be inside of me . Traumatic and beautiful at the same time because my 2lbs healthy preemie at the time is 14 yrs old now and striving . Praise my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ 🙏🏽. Scary at the time tho .

I was absolutely fascinated and glad you had such a beautiful supportive family. I’ve seen a few “didn’t know I was pregnant” stories, but they have usually been someone who can hide the weight as the baby grows. But if you were working out four times a week, you must have been fit with no bulging belly? My mind is blown. My curiosity screams to see a photo. Amazing! And even more surprising is that at 19 you have never had a normal period? Wow. I’ve never heard of that ever before. And the most surprising is hearing about you telling the ER personnel that there’s no way you could have been pregnant. I was justifiably worried you had been abused under the influence of a drug someone slipped you? The combination of those three are just jaw dropping. But having a beautiful baby girl on Valentine’s Day is absolutely sweet and I’m so glad your story ended on a happy note.

I never looked pregnant either and lost 20 pounds and gained back 12 and walked out of the delivery room and zipped up my pre pregnancy jeans. But my son was 2 months premature and I was sick for 8 months after the birth. He is now a healthy 41 year old man with a wife and 2 children. It all worked out.

I always wished I’d have a pregnancy kinda like that, where I didn’t know until delivering and having a healthy wonderful outcome. My first pregnancy at 18 was not a secret from my body, I was violently ill for months 24/7 I could barely drink water, eating was a NO everything came back up, no sleep as I had midnight sickness not morning. We lost our little girl one day her heart stopped and they couldn’t explain why. It’s been 9 years and still no rainbow blessing, I married my high school sweet heart so we’ve been hoping my body allows us another opportunity. I “Hope” next time I won’t get so ill, if it ever happens for us❤️ 12 years in love, we are ready to share it with a beloved baby!

Labor can look a lot of different ways. I think it's a mistake to assume that because it can be so calm and relatively manageable for some, that it's that way for everyone, every time. I strongly feel like we should pay more attention to educating and talking to our kids about this kind of stuff. If you're having sex you should be seeing a gynaecologist at least yearly, but honestly it's better to go even before that once you hit puberty. And especially if you're 15-16 or older and haven't started menstruating. But congratulations on that sweet baby of yours!

Would you believe they're suggesting that you shouldn't have your first PAP until your 21? I about fell over when I saw a video about it. A Mom had set up an appointment for her daughter at 17 and she was informed they don't do it those appointments. Other young women had commented if they hadn't had it done early they would of died. Most of us had our first exam between 15-18. The Mom in the video I seen was as shocked as I was. The amount of women who survived because of early detection is incredible.

You didn't say anything about her father! Is he involved with her? I knew a woman that was a medical professional that too gave birth by everyone's surprise. I was in the office on Friday and she was there. I went back on Monday and she wasn't there. I asked someone where she was and they said I'll let the doctor tell you! He said her mother called on Sunday and said she was having a lot of pain. He told her to take her to the hospital and his father and him would meet them. The ER doctor did a couple of tests and her pregnancy test was positive. They examined her and she was fully dilated and a short while later gave birth to an almost ten pound baby. Everybody was in total shock! She was engaged and had a wedding planned and her fiance and her were remodeling a house and doing a lot of heavy construction. She was very fit and ran several miles every morning! Her mother was in total shock and the neighbors said she knocked on their doors to see if they had any baby equipment and clothes. The neighbors gathered a lot of baby clothes and equipment in a matter of hours. Her mother had a nursery all set up in her home.

I was wondering how the Dad took the news? Is he involved with the raising of his daughter?

She included everyone except the father. She even had the nurses help her name the baby. So disrespectful.
