One of the best Malayalam films I have seen during these pandemic times.Though released in 1970 December,I don't remember having seen then.The great litterateur and revolutionary of Kerala,Ponkunnam Varkey's script and dialogue are superb.Added to it are the ever green pearls of songs in this film that have stood the test of time,if that be the yardstick for measuring the popularity ,beauty and greatness of them.The story in a nutshell is the devilish changes that can come upon humans when they get some money and influence .But the final victory of truth and justice over pomp and pride is the story part of Pearl View,the name given to a bangalow in the film.My humble tributes to all the artists who are no longer with us barring perhaps Urvasi Sarada who have all acted I the film.
