Harness Bar & Racing Seat Install (Part 2) | FC RX7 Build Ep 4

Got the Corbeau FX1 Wide racing seat Installed in the FC. Had to make our own custom seat bracket to maximize head room while still being able to install the combo! This is the absolute biggest seat you can fit in an RX7.

What’s your waist size and or weight? I want these seats for my 240 but wanna make sure I’ll fit comfortably. I’m 6’1”, 400 pounds

Do you think those adjustable side mounts work?

Are you referring to the typical side mount brackets?

@OE Garage yes the ones where you screw the bolts in on the side to lower it or raise it do you think those would help to lower the seat some more?

Not in this case, mainly due to the width of the seat. There would be no way to tighten the ones on the trans tunnel side (it would even be difficult near the door.) They also add some height to it believe it or not! I tried to make them work but it was a no go.
