HAROLD AND KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY marks the triumphant return of these two hilarious, slacker anti-heroes. The movie stars John Cho (Star Trek, American Pie) as Harold and Kal Penn (The Namesake, House, Van Wilder) as Kumar, two stoners who can't seem to get a break. Their last adventure found them traveling across country to find a White Castle hamburger in order to satisfy a weed-induced case of "the munchies."
This time, the boys get themselves in trouble trying to sneak a bong onboard a flight to Amsterdam. Now, being suspected of terrorism, they are forced to run from the law and try to find a way to prove their innocence. What follows is an irreverent and epic journey of deep thoughts, deeper inhaling and a wild trip around the world that is as "un-PC" as it gets.

@Wayne Hoxit He assumed they were terrorists especially that senior citizen woman on the airplane was constantly looking at Kumar the whole time thinking he was a terrorist and seeing him lighting and smoking the bong made her think he was lighting a bomb on the airplane. (I have this movie on DVD and there's a spot on it that you can control Harold and Kumar's journey and there are options within the movie and at the spot where Harold says to put the bong away and they'll get all the marijuana they want in Amsterdam and you get to choose whether Kumar should agree or not and if you agree that Kumar shouldn't smoke it, Kumar says "I guess you're right" and then it shows them arriving to Amsterdam a few hours later where Harold sees his girlfriend Maria while Kumar goes sightseeing and sees a girl he fell in love with and they got married with Kumar saying he was going to live his life in Amsterdam forever).
