I fell asleep twice bc Rev Harold Lilly Jr.'s voice is so velvety, smooth, and relaxing. But I stayed up to really delve into this interview, and when I say He preached. He prophesied!! He is not just a songwriter, but a poet. When he speaks, he literally tells a story w his words. He educated us on the true love of R&B. I need an audio of him speaking to rock me to sleep nightly. This was everything I never knew I needed. And Im wowwwed by all the music he has written, that we all love so. I wish I had all my old cassettes and CDs so that I could look back and put faces to the names I've read throughout my lifetime. Am I telling my age here? But, Im so fascinated to see all the ppl who have touched spaces in my heart for my love of R&B. It's the greatest gift to mankind. I thank you two gentlemen for this podcast you've laid before us. This was great! Harold Lilly Jr. told his story uniquely, creatively, gracefully, amazingly, and humble. I could see and feel the divine intervention of God on his journey. The genuine connection on all people that's a part of Harold Lilly Jr. journey. It's delicious, it's amazing, it's the realness of God moving in so many lives. It gave me chills and confirmation that God would do what He said He will do. His timing is so perfect. Thank you Tank and J Valentine for a platform as R&B money that lets the world see the work, the hunger, and the teaching on artist journeys. How people were in tune with the gift of God, in the vessels they saw or heard in their presence. How God orchestrated "the moment" between people to live their blessing. How the love was created to touch the souls of so many people throughout the world. I love it! I am a fan. Continue to give me great teaching about the life of the greatest souls in R&B. Their ups and downs, the good, and the bad, the REAL life lessons that help them be who they are today. I don't see the genuine and hunger that WAS in the NOW. Too many are drunk on that E&J (envy and jealousy) that plagues the world and people are losing their lives all over the world because of it. I want to say thank you because the generation now know nothing about the work that was done to create the legends they know and has helped them along the way. Thank you, Harold Lilly Jr.,
