I hope to god Harper gets with Lucy. They'd be so damn cute together and I find Lucy really endearing and I like how others have warmed up to her too, especially Chris and Rachel and I'd rather have Lucy with Harper than other people in the ward.

Thanks for the upload, BMM. Oh, folks, I just don't like Lucy. She's very strange. (Rachel is also emotionally dependent on Lucy now, too. That makes it even more strange.) I also don't like how the writers made Harper sound and look desperate. In the preview for Monday, Harper is in Boyd's car. And with the upcoming Fiji trip, I am just SOOOOO afraid that they'll put her with Boyd. I still stand by my thoughts on Kylie. If Garrett ever gets back with Ula, Kylie is fair game. Looking at the Spoilers I sadly think you are probably right about Boyd... but a gal can hope! But at least they haven't brushed Harper's feelings for Nicole under the carpet. She did love her.

How could a formidable boss suddenly turn into a vulnerable wimp (emotion-wise)? Is this a softer, maternal side of her? Or was it out of guilt? Or has Chris left her emotionally voided? Then will this lead to something catastrophic? LOL Oh, the suspense of soap. Btw, girl, I do miss your dear Brooke. I think they gave her a bad exit even though she was a heavy-hitter of the show. She had such spiciness to her personality that added to the hotness of her beauty. Gosh, I have incurable weakness for bad straight girls. Help!!! :-} And dear BBM, sorry, I misspelled your abbreviation. LOL I was in a hurry to leave yesterday. Like you, I'm just glad that our Harper won't go back to TK. That's a major relief. :-}

It's Shortland Street, nothing we want to happen never actually happens, it actually goes the opposite, do their best to crush our hearts. What happened when we wanted Nicole with Lana?? They even won the Poll on their website by a landslide compared to Nicole and Vinny, yet we got Nicole and Vinny. Then when the Poll started up again, Nicole and Harper won over Nicole and Vinny by yet again a landslide, and again, we got Nicole and Vinny. Sorry, but this show is a lie! why i stopped watching it.

I don't waste my time with Shortland Street either. I used to watch parts of Nicole and Maia and they screwed that up. Then Harper came along and I *really* liked her, and I hated that f-ing Vinny for manipulating Nicole and trying to come between Nicole and Harper, and Nicole just kept dragging Harper around, and in the end Nicole did get back together with Vinny. (I read it online because *I'd already stopped watching this POS before they dragged me thru one more Nicole/Harper spin cycle, with Nicole's hateful mother and Vinny.) Shortland Street is the worst soap ever for LGBT viewers. At least in Verbotene Liebe there was a long period when Marbecca were happy and there were lots of love scenes and kissing. Of course, they f-ed that up totally, too. All My Children kept screwing over poor Bianca for years, but then before the show went off the air finally gave her a love interest who deserved her (Marissa). IDK why people keep watching Shitland Street thinking that something is going to change, esp. since Harper is basically hetero, with the exception of being attracted to Nicole. And that relationship was treated horribly by Shitland Street. People who keep watching this show are just gluttons for punishment. There are much better shows to watch online now.

Donna Brooks Yes i agree 100% i'm tired of the cruelty of lgbt couple or characters on soaps, even in All My Children it was discovered that Marissa was the one who got shot in the season finale, and died. Words can't describe how livid i was. All these other soaps are worse, Nicole is bisexual i totally get that, but they could have atleast gave us what was promised to us and what we wanted aka fan service. In the past few months, shows killing off lgbt characters left and right that it's getting out of control. Very dissapointed. The few soaps i was happy with and had happy endings no matter what, were foreign soaps! does that tell ya something.

L Yes, I know AMC did that and yeah, I was pissed. When I heard what happened, I watched the scene at the tombstone and Eden did a great job. Really gut-wrenching. But I treat them like I do Pepa & Silvia. In my mind they lived happily ever after. Oh, and that was so TOTALLY pointless to kill off Marissa! How long was AMC online? Three months? And then it was canceled. There were so many characters that didn't come back that the shot could have hit anyone, and I find it hard to believe that a drunk J.R. could aim well enough to kill his target with one shot. And what about David? The miracle doctor of all specialities (ob-gyn, heart specialist, eye surgeon, etc.) who kept 3 characters alive for so long after people thought they were dead couldn't have kept his own daughter alive when he was right there in the room when it happened. Way to go AMC. I can recommend some stories with happy endings. Aguslaria is one couple whose story I've seen before and yesterday I started watching favorite scenes again and scenes I missed the first time. These 2 know how to KISS!! And I like that they're very touchy-feely and playful and affectionate with each other. They act like 2 young women in love even when they aren't the focus of the scene. Brenda & Marisa had a happy ending, although I'm told that their story wasn't that great. Marissa (different one and why are so many L or bi characters named Marissa?! LOL) Anyway, Marissa and Silvina had a good love story, I'm told and I've seen the ending. Unfortunately, no one has made English subs for those last 2 couples, only Aguslaria. It seems like if you want a happy ending for your female couples, you need to look to South America, Mexico, Germany, and Spain (although Spain has 2 notable exceptions!). Italy has a reputation for notoriously bad lesbian-themed movies.
