A springhouse is pre-refrigeration. They're built over a running spring, usually out of stone. The constantly flowing, cool water humidifies the room and keeps it cool. Glad you're enjoying the Eastern US. I can't wait to go out West next year!

Love how green everything is! Harpers Ferry looks like a great place to visit! 🥰 Love all the history. We always have to get a magnet when we go places. Our fridge is almost full. 😂 The Rabbit Hole restaurant looked yummy! 😋 Air conditioning is so important in those humid places! 🥵 Thanks for taking us along in this fun video! 🙏🏻 Dave could record an album with his singing at the end! 🤗

I did a little more research and Scotsman re-emerged with the Roamer in the 70s. That was a Toaster style camper. I've never seen or heard of one until now. So I stand corrected... Deleted my other comments.
