After listening to the live version, I think this is probably one of the greatest video game soundtrack pieces of all time. However, the live version was kind of weak on the vocal and guitar mix, so I added those in using FL studio and the original mix.

It’s basically the ps2 game with trophy support added which is nice, but the graphics are the same as before basically. I would love an actual remaster or even remake. Maybe they could combine 5 and Zero since they are interconnected.

☹️ Old friends hired as mercenaries at the very beginning become sworn enemies in a final showdown at the very end. Larry Foulke/Solo Pixy saw the war for what it really symbolised - destruction, chaos misery and death. There are and were never "good guys" when it came to war. Wheras Cypher/Galm 1 (Demon Lord-player) continued to be the 1 sided soldier fighting on regardless. 🛩️ v 🛩️ I must say Bandai Namco rarely fails to do a SPECTACULAR JOB with their creations! 👏👏👏👏👍👍

i know most fans would call the battle between cipher and pixy a joust. But to me it really feels like a fencing duel. The dancing of blades mimiced through the dance in the sky with war machines trying to gain the opening.

But how is it fencing? Like in fencing the fighters go back and forth within their own sides, but jousting the fighters keep circling from one side to the other while trying to hit each other in the middle which is exactly how the mission goes, Cypher and Pixy keep switching sides and trying to hit each other in the middle

What I like about this Dual Mix is the inclusion of the gameplay being interwoven with scenes of showing the orchestra playing the music. Kind of like one of those Video Games Live concert.

From my experience the VGL video often don't match parts of the music and seem thrown together by amateurs. This video is a true masterpiece: the way it interwoven just the right amount and the right type of in-game drama into the music and live performance footage is impeccable. The vocalist in the red dress killed this one, goose bump every single play. The echo around @2:15 is out of this world. Also, really learned to appreciate the difficulty of the original composition's guitar piece. I feel that these two more than capable guitarist was straggling keeping up.

普段は敵のケツを取っていく、反航戦は基本シチュエーションが出来上がっているときだけなのが、この場合だけは狙って反航戦のシチュエーションを作らないといけないのが 逆に苦手だった。
