Harriet, Lola and I go to Montgomery in Wales

I have teamed up yet again with the lovely Harriet and Lola to explore the wonderful town of Montgomery in Wales. As well as the fabulous Georgian square, proud town hall, amazing views, we are hunting out two curiosities which fascinate me. The first is the Robber's Grave with its peculiar legend. The second is the remaining structure from the town's gaol.
There is a second part to this trip in which Harriet, Lol and I, visit the fabulous ruins of Montgomery Castle. Do check that out.

Lovely town! Loved the Georgian & timber-framed houses. Great to hear both the church bells & the court house's. Beautiful gate, even if it was for such a most likely horrid place! Looking forward to the castle vid!

Fantastic film, fantastic place and you're making me homesick (again). There is a similar Ironmongers in Church Stretton where I used to reside for a while. Looking forward to your Castle ruins walk and film as it is over 10 years ago that I was last up there during a summer's evening looking down on the Town.

I love in Montgomery like the place wear u are it's a beautiful place everyone is so nice here the castle,robbers grave and many more there are shops and stuff like castle kitchen bunners and the museum I live close very close for wear u where walking ALSO THERE IS A VERYY NICE SCHOOL THERE FOR KIDS Also I live very very close like around the corner from the jail house

Montgomery Clift,or Montgomery the General? No Montgomery the town,your memory is so ephemeral! That grave robber must have a serious bloke,well he was,till his ghost lawnmower got broke! In to the town with our little bunch. I think it’s fish and chips for lunch! There’s Bunners the iron monger,where you can buy a capper scoop,or a sink unbunger! Oh here the gaol house,made out of jail house rock! I think with our lunch,a nice glass of hock!?!
