My wife and I had a great time with Captain Jack on a 1/2 day charter. He kept moving till he found the fish. His rates are very reasonable. He cleans the fish for you so don't forget to tip him! Thinking about going out again when the bluegill start to hit.

Thinking about fishing lake harris soon. I’m in Jacksonville and trying to make the trip worth it. Is jigging grass lines the best bet in February?
@horsleyretirementadventure6443 Жыл бұрын
Yes I would hit the grass and actually get in the pads. If they’re not in shallow yet then I’ve seen folks catching them trolling or jigging the fish attractors. Minnows work well too. If you go in the pads use a 1/64 oz jig and a small red/chartreuse tube.

You need to get a bigger boat, go out early morning, bag lunch, provide your own drink and no alcohol. You be the Captain of your ship. 6 people per fishing cruise, more depending on the size of your boat. I used to love to surf cast. Blessings be with you and your brothers.

Hi Karen, you’re right he needs a bigger boat! We were fishing off of brother Jacks boat today. Back to me and Chris this week. Thank you for watching

Can I go out there with you?
@horsleyretirementadventure6443 Жыл бұрын
Do you live in Leesburg area? I was visiting my brother down there, but I do go down once a month or so
@mademan407 Жыл бұрын
Yes, I stayed in Leesburg for about 10 years. I’m moved back to Orlando area. I can always meet you up there. I have a boat also, or I can ride with you. It’s almost speck/crappie time

I guess that’s a no.
@horsleyretirementadventure6443 Жыл бұрын
I’ll let you know when I head back down, I usually go out in my brothers boat so we’ll have to do some coordination.
@horsleyretirementadventure6443 Жыл бұрын
@mademan407 not a no, but I need to ask him when I come down. He’s like me, we like taking people out.
