Conan was so put on the spot when Harrison asked them what they would do together! He wanted to be his normal, goofy self, but when he looked over at Harrison he realized he would love to have him as a friend, and he could only come up with going to dinner. Then he tried to be funny with that looking at the moon part, but it wasn't right for Harrison and he knew it. I can't remember the last time Conan was so starstruck! Kind of cute.

Conan probably didn't want to be too intrusive by suggesting things like visiting each other on a regular basis, playing billiard and down some beers, watching the game, going to the gym and do some locker-room talk, going out for tequila and get wasted, dressing up together in silly costumes for Halloween, watching clips of old funny movies, etc. Conan is always funny but also extremely self-aware that he do not want to accidently step on anyone's toes and destroy the mode and feel like a bully unless he's fully confident that his guests and fellow colleagues can handle it, play along and together laugh about it. Conan is a brilliant man but with brilliance also sometimes comes insecurities. But that makes him extremely likeable, just compare with many of todays talk show hosts and see the difference of likeable levels.

Comedy magic and gold 😂🎉 this is the first time I have ever heard Harrison Ford talk casually, and my god, what a comedy genius! As others have said…such razor timing is a gift, and he has it!! Thank you so much…laughing so hard is so wonderful ❤

When Harrison said to Conan that he's got a friend and shook his hand, it didn't feel like a joke, it felt true. I think the old man was happy to learn that he still can make new friends, that good people want to hang out with him.

I'm trying to not watch too many of these clips for when I listen to the entire episode. I would be willing to pay a subscription for access to the full length episodes on video.

Harrison is absolutely on point with his comedy. I guess Dials of Destiny really was an end of an era. It was such a good sendoff, too. All good things come to an end, but watching Ford on screen is always magical.
