I'll start by being bluntly honest and admitting that shoe collection is a hobbie I never understood. I'm a collector myself, but collecting sneakers is something that I particularly never was able to understand. I'm not saying it's wrong, dumb, bad or for the like, you don't need someone to understand or validate your hobbies for them to be okay, I'm just saying that it has always been strange to me that people collect shoes of all things because I see them as an item to be worn; but after watching this I think I'm more educated, some of those are so awesome and I would feel guilty wearing them honestly. Specially those with sole designs and stuff like that, they're more of a piece of art than something meant to be worn, at least that's what I think now. I do wear expensive shoes because I want reliable materials that won't fall apart within a year, it's an investment in comfort to me, but this video kinda changed my opinion on the sneaker collection hobby, so kudos to you for that, I can understand more now. There's history behind a lot of shoes and brands that is worth preserving, besides the designs of many of those are just incredible and I could never wear them, I'd like to display them instead. KZbin suggested this vid to me, I had no idea it was about sneakers, good job.
