Today I'm off to have Christmas afternoon tea at the famous luxury store Harrods!! Let's see what £65 gets you and how does it compare to the last time I went.... Also I show you the decorations at the lovely Harvey Nichols store in Knightsbridge.

Hello. My wife and I really love your blogs. we have just discovered your blogs and really love them. We both moved to the USA ( Minnesota ) from London 12 years ago and really really miss it. Because of various reasons we cant move back for a while. WE miss the vibrancy, the food, the atmosphere, and of course the Brits. Harrods is an awesome place to visit I had afternoon tea there a few years ago and it was just the coolest thing i did. I am Australian and my wife British. 😂for 65 quid they should let you take the tablecloths and chairs!!! we do chocolate buffet in Boston at Christmas, last I went it was 50bucks and I packed a treat bag that made Santa blush 😛😄🎅wait that walkway to the loo is part of the 65quid!!! Enjoyed watching this. Looked lovely. Do agree with you about the “ walkway” bit. We have booked The Tiffany Blue Box cafe for afternoon tea at Harrods. 4 of us. We have had to cancel 3 times due to illness!🤦‍♀️ now booked for February. 🤞 we can go this time. My 18 year old Niece chose it to celebrate turning 18 with her sister, Nan and me her Aunty. It is more modern and therefore more our style. I did really enjoy seeing the more traditional style Hannah chose. A little too old fashioned got our tastes. Decor very dull except for Christmas touches imo. But food looked beautiful. Plus beautiful China. I enjoy your videos Hannah thank you.

This was lovely and the sandwiches and pastries looked scrumptious! A bit on the noisy side, I would prefer the experience of afternoon tea in a more quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Nonetheless, the festive and elegant decor makes up for some of that. As always you never disappoint! 🥰

I really appreciate this video. I know the tradition of high tea started in England and it’s always nice to see how it’s done across the pond. Here in the US we mostly have rather poor imitations of this experience, even when when they cost close to $100.00 and include a glass of champagne. There are no refills of either the food or the tea. No live music either. I recently tried one at the Waldorf Astoria here in DC and although it was considerably better than my other experiences with High Tea, the Harrods experience seems way better. We still need to learn how to do high tea from the Brits. I love your videos btw, they provide a very nice and relatable insight into British life, culture and history. I've been to wonderful afternoon teas in Los Angeles over the years. Friends have taken me to afternoon tea for my birthday at the Chiba Tea house next to the Japanese American Museum in downtown LA and a really charming teahouse in Seal Beach after Christmas in 2016. The most memorable tea I've had was in 2008 and I arranged it for an outing for mother's day for my mom. We went to a luxury hotel in Beverly Hills and the whole experience was just great.

Great video thanks Hannah; Merry Christmas to you and your lovely friends 🎄 I can recommend the Harrods breakfast on their veranda that you peaked into in this video. Especially in the summer months - I've done that with a group of friends a few years ago... really lovely & great service. You just walk through the area where you had afternoon tea (it is empty in a morning) and up to the entrance to the veranda and wait there to be seated. We didn't book, and didn't have to wait, but obviously check beforehand in case it's a busy day! Gosh those cakes though - I was drooling! Such a good idea to offer doggy bags right? :) Nice! Glad you enjoyed.
