This is how all advent calendars should be: worth way more than what you're paying for, cause you already purchase them with the "catch" that you are NOT choosing what you're getting, so you might get products that you don't like or use, but you won't feel too bad about it cause they're still worth the money you spent. They are just glorified mystery boxes, after all. And you can always give the stuff you won't use or like to friends and family as actual christmas gifts, since they are good products and not just some throw-away merch that even the company didn't know how to get rid of (looking at you, Netflix advent calendar). You should feel excited to open the next little box and see what you got, cause it's meant to be 24 little surprises. This is also marketing done right, cause you might fall in love with a product you didn't know before and decide to invest in it, therefore both Harrods and the brand would potentially gain more customers from this. 10/10, such a shame it's sold out.

The MSRP on specialty grouped packages, especially like this one, should always be more than what you would pay if you were to purchase each item individually imo. That's the whole reason for buying it in a package form like this. It should also introduce you to items you may have not purchased on your own otherwise in hopes of you liking it and wanting to start purchasing it from here on out. So good job, Harrods! Other companies need to pay attention because this is how it should be done!

I think that Is the main reason for advent calendars from the start, but the last two lost the plot! This would be an excellent way to find something you like enough to spend the money on but not taking a huge risk of getting something you'll never buy at any price! Because of the fact that there were other things in the same purchase price that you liked, which will brush off the high total price!

I must say that of all the calendars I’ve seen myself so far over the last few years, this one is the ONLY one anywhere near worth the money. ❤ this one is way up there as a calendar gift worth buying! I would love this as my main gift from my partner! It is actually real value for money! And products you will use! And they are TREATS - brands we probably wouldn’t buy ourselves normally so it’s special and then the fact it is from Harrods makes it so very extra special! Bloody marvellous calendar! 🥰👏👏👏😇🙏🙏🙏

Ok, it might be hideously expensive, but gosh, this is how you do an advent calendar! It looks absolutely stunning and even though I'm not really into beauty products, I know these items are good quality and worth the cost. It's beautiful and fantastic value for money.

I thought that she was going to put the total price results at the end ,now I'm just going to have to watch again to get the total myself. She could also do it while omitting the products that she didn't like. (Mine would be for "in a perfect world", kinda way) I love the way she doesn't hold back on her own feelings, but she's still nice even with the yucky ones!

Def worth it. But it pretty much tells you the mark up on all those items. I doubt they're losing money on the advent, so the "cost" to manufacture all those items, would likely makes us cry, if we knew.

Being a man, none of these products except for the cologne means anything for me. I personally use "Bleu of Chanel" for special occasions. But to see your reactions to each item and the packaging of the calendar was very well made. Out of all my you tubers that do openings you will always be my favorite Cherry. You put so much emotion and flair in all of your videos!!!

If they can put all these products in an advent calendar AND still turn a profit, it tells you all you need to know about how much these products actually cost to make. As with most things, you eventually reach a point where you’re just paying for the brand and most of the price is mark up. Btw, that blush was actually really nice. Just a light natural glow.

They're probably not turning a profit, brands are probably giving away the products to the store and writing it off as promotion, and the store is charging for logistics and packaging only.

An expensive Advent that is actually well worth the price. Personally it wouldn't do anything for me but I'm very impressed. That Charlotte Tilbury lipliner is very popular and I believe sells out a lot. Face creams are so expensive, they included some really posh ones in there. For people who love nice beauty calendars, this is really great. I love watching these and look forward to watching them. I hope you have more great ones like this since you spend so much on these videos. It's appreciated! xx

I dont wear beauty products. This wouldnt be for me. Especially for the price of the calendar alone. BUT, if you love high end beaity products, this is an amazing advent calendar. This is how advent calendars should be. It is beyond worth the price. Despite not being my thing, this was actually an exciting, magical calendar. A++ to the company.

I love this advent calendar but as a dark skinned woman a lot of advent calendar makeup product colors do not work well on our skin, they are always to light I feel like skin is never taken into account

Wow, what a calendar! I live in Australia now,but I went to a private girls school in Yorkshire in the 70s and my uniform came from Harrods. We had to make a special trip to London to buy everything. I remember it being an amazing place to shop and even then very expensive.

I've only just stumbled upon this channel. I mjust say your videos are very professional. The background and the way you coordinate with the branding like the way the green of your cardigan matches the Harrods branding/colours/logo. Loving this series. I thought I spent enough this year on the M and S chocolate one. It's the most I've ever spent on an advent calendar but I do love luxury and Harrods definately exudes that. I would love a Fortnum and Mason one and would love one of them if they did one and would like to treat myself to one of their hampers or a Harrods one next year :)

Im kinda skeptical with this calendar. I know the products are expensive, but they are so small. they look more like samples than anything. so instead of giving you actual full products, you're getting a small sample so you eventually buy the full product later. And not only that, but they are charging you for the advertisement.

I don’t know anything about the skincare but I do have a full size hour glass mascara - it was £30 but the best mascara I’ve ever had & it comes off so easily & quickly. Definitely worth buying 💕

At £10 an item, I’d say it’s definitely worth the price tag. Do I agree with the prices of the individual products and would I pay for them individually? I don’t think so. Some of these prices made my toes curl 😂 but I think it’s a great way to dip your toe into high end brands and work out what you like, without wasting hundreds on products that may not suit. Really enjoyed this.

I always use the Eve Lim foaming cleanser! It only takes a small amount and foams up wonderfully- using it daily, it lays me about 2 months!

You are Smart & Correct!!! You should ALWAYS do you facial cleansing & treatment at night. It removes ALL of the pollutants that you have attracted during the day and washes away all negativity! Not only that…when you care for your skin at night, it’s the Best time (when you are sleeping & fully relaxed) for your pores to absorb facial care products and restore when your skin and nourish it. In the morning, other that a light splash of water to refresh…you should not use soap. You should strive to keep as much of your natural moisturizers & oils that your body produces…just start with a good facial primer and you are set! But you are Young & Beautiful…you are probably already doing all you need (and wearing Plenty of SPF) to keep your face (AND neck!) lovely! 🥰

Someone commented on another one of these videos that calendars that are for beauty/ make up products have an incentive to put good things in bc they’re trying to sell you on buying the bigger version later. Vs a calendar for Netflix or Harry Potter that is trying to turn a profit on the actual calendar.
