I'm glad the Sox kept an organist in the stadium, but man. Nancy was THE organist for the White Sox. She was, is, and will forever be a legend as a major league baseball organist.

We should retire a Jersey just for her. I met her at my forst Sox game in 1990.

She is the answer to a great trivia question few can answer. I'll give it away here, Who is the only person to play for three professional Chicago major league teams? The Sox, Bulls and Blackhawks

If you're wondering why Harry sounded so much better for the Sox than later with the Cubs, it's because Sox organist Nancy Faust played "Take Me Out" in a lower key than is typical for the tune. And I believe she still does this!

That plus that POS lowrey organ they used made him sound like a toad frog trying to mate with an accordion. Not to mention gary pressy is a joke for an organist.

back then, we'd buy general admission tickets on gameday and migrate all the way up to the Golden box seats and rarely get kicked out of our seats. Going to those games in the late 70's/early 80's made winning the 2005 WS so much sweeter!

We would get general admission seats for 2 bucks then go to the Golden box seats in the 3rd inning where my sister worked and get the seats no one showed up for. Life was good 👍

He sounded better back then because he was younger. It was also before he had a stroke in 1987. Prior to the stroke, he sounded the same singing at Wrigley as he does in these clips.

Some of the White Sox "new owners" worst PR moves. Pay tv and that stupid SportVision. Firing Harry and Jimmy Piersall and demolishing the great BIG LEAGUE ballpark. And you wonder why they do not draw fans.

That old double decker was a classic. At least i got to step foot in it once before they tore it down in 1990. Nancy and Harry sounded a WORLD of a lot better at the palace.

@@johnpiet6495 Agreed, einhorn and reinsdorf should have been crucified for their crimes against Pale Hose nation. Letting Big Hurt go after 15 seasons, firing Ozzie, and refusing to resign the Condor??? Theres a reason I go to the sunday games only now. Second thought, reinsdorf should be HANGED DRAWN AND QUARTERED.

@TeamshakeNbake Oh,whatever.Does that experence at Wrigley include Cubs fans nearly killing Steve Bartman in 2003?If Wrigley is Americiana, then it reflects America now of days,...in very bad shape! Wrigley is overrated.I'm a White Sox fan,but even I think Fenway Park is better than Wrigley.Oh,and Fenway and the Cell hosted more Championships teams than Wrigley, too!
