I'm with you on so many points of this whole thing - like I never noticed the guy who played Albert either !! Anyway , I was a fan of the show through Hard Day's Night and KZbin before I saw the biopic and the alleged doc , but the only other side of it that I knew of was an interview with Harry's daughter , so I appreciate all your deep digging - WELL DONE , GOOD SIR !! I'm going to go find my inner Albert now ..... Or screw it - I'll just put on his costume and act like Albert instead !!

The curse is one those bio pic garbage heaps that literally owes anyone who saw it an apology the actors are fine actors that give a fine performance of complete crap and should say as much to salvage things say i didn't know or i wouldn't have done it sort of scenario

Technically when the show was created the VCR did exist,having been invented in 1956,the problem was that the first versions costed around $50,000(in modern money,$325,000),and the first version compatible with VHS tapes,didn’t come out in Japan until 1976

I really enjoyed this, and I'm glad the whole story of them literally loathing each other is mostly bullshit. Being a huge Steptoe fan it always marred the experience of watching it slightly

It's like many movies they tried to glamourise up to get the Audience reaction always trust the books of an actor or singer like the Elvis the movie Kurt russel 1979 the buddy holly story both all wrong got dates wrong people who shouldn't be there the story's all over the place like wise walk the line ' I like to see Bobby ball one created properly by Tommy cannon now before the BBC gets hold of the story and makes him look like a right one and properly make him a murderer or something . Love steptoe and son on the buses they were big tv shows and they knew this at the time they both fetched millions of viewers
