Another was dealing drugs, then there was having unprotected sex and getting HIV, then getting involved with Harry and now what he is doing atm. Who knows what he would be like today if he had stayed away from that murdering, abusive psychopath.

I wonder how long it will be before James realizes that he doesn`t have to prove Harry`s innocence, just to weaken the prosecutions case enough to establish reasonable doubt. And if Harry took the bus to see Sandra, as he told Breda he would, there should be CCTV footage of him on the bus, and where he went off the bus. Since Mercedes and Liam had left in the Alfa some minutes before - and since they wouldn`t stop at bus stops along the route (probably even taking a different route in parts), the time from the CCTV footage placing Harry inside the bus, and the times his forgotten phone inside the Alfa connected to mobile phone base stations, would not much. And the comparison would have proved that since Harry`s phone was ahead of the bus Harry was on, Harry could not be driving the car - since he was on the bus. Therefore being proof someone else had to be driving the Alfa at that time, and also that Harry told the truth when claiming to have forgotten his phone in the car. So unless the police could prove Harry took possession of the car again before the hit and run, it would seem more likely that Harry`s car had been stolen - as Harry had claimed - than that Harry had been driving it when Grace was hit. Voila! Reasonable doubt bordering on a full cast alibi for Harry. And at least proof that both Harry had left his phone in the Alfa, and that someone other than him was driving it while he was on the bus. Together with what Harry told Breda: that his car had been taken, and he had to hurry to catch the bus, the police`s version of events - that Harry first had ran down Grace, only to report the car stolen afterwards to cover his tracks - would seem less likely. Since Breda could testify that the car had been stolen prior to Grace being run down. And since Harry neither had a motive to want Grace dead, and since also driving through a long line of road blocks would be an odd choice if the intent was to run someone over deliberately, the fact Harry told Breda about the car being missing, would indicate the car had to have been driven by someone other than Harry. Most likely someone in the Hollyoaks village, otherwise it is unlikely the car would have been brought back to where it was stolen from, since strangers likely would have attracted attention - whether leaving by bus, taxi or a car not belonging to the area. James should have realized this weeks ago, and Harry should have been checked out of the case by now.

Tvjunkieful12 harry didn't drive the car, plus his car got stolen by Mercedes and liam their the one who was driving harry's car that run grace over. So harry is innocent.

My point is it is unnecessary to try to find Sadie, since logic dictates the car most likely had to have been stolen, since Mercedes and Liam - PLUS HARRY'S PHONE - was ahead of Harry who was on the bus. Consequently it can be proven Harry and his phone was not together for the journey from Hollyoaks village. But since he theoretically could have gotten back into the car from he left the bus and until Grace was hit, we have to resort to logic to establish reasonable doubt about Harry's guilt. But thanks to the fact he told Breda his car was missing and that he was heading for the bus, Breda could testify to the fact Harry's car was missing PRIOR to him leaving Hollyoaks village. Which does not not correspond with the police's reason for suspecting Harry - that he reported his car stolen AFTER he had run down Grace. But that is not what happened. I know that. But since that is the police's theory, that is the version of events James has to establish reasonable doubt about, to avoid Harry being convicted of something he hasn't done. The problem for James is how to manage that, when the police is convinced Harry's phone placed him in the car when Grace was run down. If he on the other hand had done his job properly, and asked Harry if he talked to someone after he discovered the car was gone, James would have learned about Breda, and Breda could have testified that the car was gone before Grace later was hit, and also that Harry had gone to find a bus. Even though that testimony in itself would not exclude Harry to have gotten into the car - either because he could have hidden the car and used Breda to establish an alibi for himself, or because he had gotten into the car again after it got into the town - it would substansiate Harry's own claims of both the car having been stolen before he left from Hollyoaks, and also that he had taken a bus to town. Therefore Breda's testimony could contribute both to prove Harry had been telling the truth, and to direct attention towards the bus - Harry's alibi for not having left Hollyoaks in the car.

I know that starry is over and i'm over it but jarry isn't right either. James pimped him out and that's disturbing. And because they started by cheating, their relationship isn't a honest one and james can't trust him because of it. In fact it's better if they were single for once.

This is a simplification of what happened. James didn't pimp out Harry. Harry prostituted himself, becos he was living on the streets, and neither Tony or Ste were willing to help him. The only one who cared for Harry at that time was James. He put a roof over his head. James was against the prostitution, but he knew he wouldn't be able to stop Harry from doing it, so he offered him to connect with clients James knew Harry would be safe with in a controlled environment. If James wouldn't have agreed to this arrangement, Harry would have left again and prostituted himself on the streets. James actually made a big sacrifice by doing what he did, at least this is the way the writers told the story (you can agree or disagree with that, but in the context of the story James is not the bad guy here). Despite James loving Harry and him wanting them to be exclusive, he tolerated Harry having sex with different men under his roof, so Harry could be safe at least.

Yes, ste was with sinead but he was lying to himself because he was gay and shouldn't have been with sinead because he can't love herthe way she deserved. He thought of her as a sister. Not that's a excuse because he still lied but but jarry going behind ste's back for months while harry's sister was in hospital and tony missing, isn't exactly selfless. Plus I think that it's sad that jarry fans think that love justifies everything. He still arranged for him to have sex with other guys for money. It's true that Harry would have done it any way but if james less selfish he would have atleast put a stop to it instead of indulging him. Starry isn't right but jarry is still toxic.

It is that black and white. It's true that Harry would have done it anyway but he has a problem and if james was less selfish he would have made more of a effort to stop of instead of arranging for harry to sleep with clients. People have also said that james started it when he offered harry thousand by spending the night. Jarry fans are blind because that kind of relationship is toxic and james had done things that is really bad which his fans made excuses for such as framing an innocent man who then committed suicide, telling deedee who her real mother is while lying sick in the hospital out of bitterness and defended laurie because he care more about his career than the victims. He treats harry as a child all the time and calls the shots, expects harry to be OK with whatever decision and keeps bringing up the past. They're not equal partners. Starry had its problems and wouldn't have lasted anyway but how can people thinks this relationship is perfect when there are so many more things wrong with it.

Harry had a legitimate problem and james should have tried harder to stop him.It's true that harry would have done it anyways but He still arranged for it to happen, he shouldn't have indulged him. he had done many things that was selfish and bitter and that kind of relationship is sick. Love doesn't make it Ok and it never will.

James stopped Harry from prostitution and told him that he is not going that path again, when Harry was getting blackmailed just before his wedding to Ste... James isn't perfect, but at least he didn't physically assault Harry, like Ste did when he was in a relationship with Harry... Nothing is more toxic in a relationship than domestic violence...
