Wonderfull recording. I have the record since 1974 and have allways been one of my favorites. I was a fan of Nilsson and because of parents was aware of the songs in this record so I found this a great record.

what a voice. when you can sing a song immortalized by Sinatra, and do it such great justice like Harry has, you know youve found greatness. Its a shame that most nowadays forget about Harry and the amazing talent he had. What happened to all the real artists in this world?

Gordon Jenkins one of the greatest arrangers in history, you can recognise his arrangements, his melodic and harmonic shifts anywhere, and always soulful. I prefer him over Riddle, although granted they're very different.

Bloberry, thank you for uploading what seems to be KZbin's only version of the awesome Gordon Jenkins tune This Is All I Ask. I don't care for Nillson's interpretation; this tune calls for, say, Andy Williams or Shirley Bassey.
