Hagrid is half giant, meaning giants blood can take more than just a simple stunning spell to knock him out. It was mentioned in an earlier book about this fact. It was as if the people who wrote the film script totally disregarded this entirely.

There was a chapter in book 5 in which Umbridge, as headmistress, tried to have Hagrid ousted by a bunch of aurors, whose stunning spells bounced off Because of Hagrid's half giant blood. When they did stun Mcgonagall and Hagrid's pet dog Fang, Hagrid went berserk against the aurors.

I gotta imagine the muggle prime minister collaborates with the UK Minister for Magic and does some censoring and covering up (perhaps even memory wiping) the specific facts and details of the incident. Also CCTV and the like are in their infancy during the time of the Harry Potter books, so video evidence likely doesn't exist to spur on conspiracies & rumors.

By far the best scene, in this movie, Close to the book, like when Voldemort was near the wand recognised the kin as well as the enemy as they had met before in the graveyard and Harry's won fought and won against it. On another note, people think Hagrid was obvious choice, when it was not. Voldemort went after the powerful and that's why it took him this much time. It was because Harry used expelliarmus that the death eaters realised that he was the actual Harry, as in the books it is said that Death Eaters thought that it was Harry's signature move.

Harry is the one with the highest chance of killing Voldemort, and is the only one destined to do so according to the prophecy, so of course Harry’s protection is more important than that of the Minister of Magic’s.

When said young boy is basically the best chance they againts the Darklord and cant be replaced, while they could easily just get new prime minister, but getting kid that Voldermort has tried to kill as child and failed and gotten his attempts to return/kill him ruined by said child repeatedly for years, its not hard to figure out. Also, when there is prophecies of him being destined to be the one that stop Voldermort, it shouldnt be that hard to figure out. First generation Toyota Prius became available in Japan, 1997. It's not impossible that someone imported the vehicle to the UK. So while a bit of a stretch, it WAS possible.

@superbowlguy9659 you’re confused. The movies came out in the 2000s, but Harry’s teen years take place in the 1990s. Harry was born July 31st, 1980. His parents were killed a little over a year later on October 31st, 1981 (Halloween; Voldemort went trick-or-treating to kill them). So with this said, the movies in regards to the Hogwarts years he went to school there was from 1991 to 1998. Harry killed Voldemort in 1998, on the day of May 2nd
