At that point forward: Harry should've been cut ties with his so-called "friends" throughout the semester, even during the Yule Ball Sequence, so he doesn't have to put up with Ron and Hermione constantly bickering let alone deal with disrespect from Parvati Patil. They actually couldn't figure out how two names from the same school came out because it was impossible to do so. Harry's name only came out because Crouch Jr used a confundus charm to make the Goblet think Harry's name was from a fourth school. His name was guaranteed to come out because the Goblet had only one entrant from the fourth school which was Harry. So, the only way they could have any other names was if they made the Goblet think two other schools were also added. But by this point, the Goblet's magic had become dormant so it couldn't work anymore until the next tournament

What are you smoking? Radcliffe, Grint, Watson and Felton were appalling actors. They were cast due to connections they had, not because they were right for the part. Radcliffe in particular did not deserve the role, his parents are both involved in casting. He has 0 emotional depth, comes from too privileged a background, doesn't even look like Harry Potter. Harry is supposed to be an abused geek of a boy. Radcliffe had absolutely no ability to play that. None of them ever say the lines with intention, they only knew how to feign emotion. It's such a shame the main kid cast ruined these movies.

REMARK: I know the “Dumbledore said calmly” has gotten a bit old as a complaint, but I do think it is a very odd mischaracterization and misrepresentation of actual Dumbledore in the books. I mean, Dumbledore was the wisest, most powerful and calmest wizard of all time. He had been in tricky situations like this and much worse, millions and millions of times. Most importantly, Dumbledore was more than intelligent enough to know that a 14 year old wizard, could not have put his name in the Goblet of Fire, by any stretch of the imagination and it needed an extremely powerful experienced wizard to break the code of the Goblet of Fire. Dumbledore is portrayed in the books as someone who most of the time, already knows what has happened and what is going to happen in the future, due to being extremely wise. So Dumbledore calmly asking Harry the question “Did you put your name in the Goblet of Fire, Harry?” was just a rhetorical question because he had more than enough common sense to know that it clearly wasn’t Harry. That is why it’s so ridiculous to turn him into an angry, emotional man, grabbing and shaking a shocked 14 year old boy. Very out of character and makes Dumbledore look like the opposite of who he actually was. I think the director, either had no idea of the nature of the characters, or he wanted to make things a bit more dramatic for the movie,… or had the English habit of trying to take a dig at the French. Before grabbing Harry, he shouts to the French representative: “YOU FRENCH TART, everything is a conspiracy theory with you” (which he doesn’t say in the book), and which you can not pull off, unless you make the character angry in that moment.

i mean.. as far as the memes goes, it just absurd for dumbledore to ask him in a rush and panic manner. he's not dumb, he know.. not only the fact that harry cannot be putting it by himself, but made the goblet spat out 4? when its supposed to be just 3? i dont know how the magic works, but im guessing if that goblet works like an AI computer to pick out the best candidate out of 3 schools, then the culprit had to rewrite the program to register another extra school, where harry is the only student, so 100% he would be picked as 4th participant. and i dont know how strong is the security encryption in that goblet, well.. they emphasized enough that would take advance knowledge in goblet programming.

He was completely shocked to be in the tournament. He knew he didn't put his name into the goblet nor did it anyone else he could have asked. He might have wished before to participate but probably knew that this might be dangerous and he surely graved for a normal school year this time. Also if this is a binding contract you will suffer consequences. If an unbreakable vow kills you if you fail to perform... something similar might happen if you refuse to perform in the tournament. It won't kill you if you fail (at least not due to the contract but obstacles instead), otherwise Fleur and Viktor would be dead for failing to reach the cup in time. Plus Dumbledore most likely used Legilimency when he asked Harry if he put his name into the goblet.
