It still is one of my favourite chapters in the whole series and The Halfblood Prince is my favourite out of all the books. Absolutely fantastic scene, Dan delivers one of his best performances of all the movies. Music is on point too, perfectly capturing the whimsical state of mind Harry is in. Shame about the photography, it’s all brown and green when it could have been so much richer. David Yates’ stylistic choices left a lot to be desired tbf.

I absolutely love the last scene, where Slughorn tells the story of Francis. It’s not from the books, and it’s one of my very few favourites that deviated from the original text that the movies made.
