Seeing this in theaters opening night was crazy. I think it was the first time I didn’t care that my friends saw me cry during a movie. Because the whole theater was full of sobs and sniffles. Truly a memorable movie going experience.

The cauldron with silver water is the pensieve; it lets you see memories of others stored in it. Its the same basin that is glowing in HP and the Goblet of Fire movie where Harry saw Dumbledore and Moody at the trial of Karkarof then later captured Barty Crouch Jr.(David Tennant).

This was definitely the turning point, when you realize, if they can kill Dumbledore, no one is safe. I've seen other reactors who have no idea it's coming and they're floored, like, how does the series even go on? Either way it hits like a sack of bricks. Can't wait for you to see the ending!

Fun fact: the actress who played Narcissa Malfoy (Helen Mcroy) was the original actor for Bellatrix but had to turn down the role as she was pregnant with her second child before they started filming order of the phoenix and funny enough after filming Helena (Bellatrixs actress) found out she was pregnant

This is my favorite HP movie. I remember the book was very dark and yet they managed to inject a lot of humor into the film. It moves along nicely and doesn’t have some of the awkward coming of age themes that often feel shoe horned in. Also one of Daniel Radcliffe’s better performances.

As someone who read the books first, I don't mind many of the changes in the films (sacrifices must be made to the adaptation gods, after all) but they honestly butchered Ginny's character. She's so much cooler in the books. My favorite thing in this film is we get to see some depth in Draco's character, and I think Tom Felton gave an excellent performance. Looking forward to the final reactions! 🙂

Professor Dumbledore's death was one of the most traumatic for Harry to witness. Right alongside his parents' murder at the hands of Voldemort when he was 15 months old, Cedric Diggory at the ratty (pun fully intended) hands of Wormtail during the last task of the Triwizard Tournament in that graveyard, and Sirius dying at the hands of his psychotic cousin Bellatrix Lestrange before he disappeared into the Veil in the Ministry Of Magic. Also, this is one of the few times Ron is shown to be intelligent in the movies. The scene on the Hogwarts Express where he's explaining the Unbreakable Vow to Harry, specifically. The wizard's chess scenes from Philosopher's Stone is another. I think another good example is the good questions he was asking in Chamber Of Secrets when Harry found that crumpled up book page in Hermione's hand.

I remember Snape killing Dumbledore came as a huge shock when we read the book too. It was the first time I really Discussed a Harry Potter book with friends and relatives. We couldn't digest that Dumbledore was gone, nor that it was thanks to Snape. And we had to wait a year to get any answers. 🤯

In regard to the room of requirement - other people can enter the room by just focusing on what you need. If someone is occupying the room when someone else tries to enter then it will only show itself to the new person if they also need what the first person needed. Otherwise, if occupied, it will stay a blank wall until the initial person leaves and then it is free to become something potentially entirely different for the next person. This movie was my favorite out of the series, my other favorite is Prisoner of Azkaban and Deathly Hallows (part 2 specifically, if in movie form) I've been binging your reactions and I am super impressed on the things you have picked up on! After the last movie, you should check out the Fantastic Beasts series and the 20th Anniversary special!

Room of Requirements changes to every person that requires the room. If you want it for storage, it will become a storage room; if you wanted a practice room then it will become one like the room for Dumbledore's Army.

Yeaaaaaaah in the movies Harry and Ginny came quite suddenly I mean yeah we knew she's always liked him but they did butcher their ENTIRE arc in the movies that's actually THE ONLY thing I hated about the movies otherwise they're the best books adaptations there is in my opinion! Harry and Ginny had a beautifully fully developed arc that made sense in the books! and it started since they had the DA classes that Harry taught last movie they developed a nice friendship BUT nothing more due to him dating Cho Chang at the time. THIS movie though it became more; They didn't say it in the movie but in the book Harry was dropped at the Weasley's basically at the start of summer, so he spent that particular one entirely with Ginny, so he noticed her more and more and started REALLY liking her too! EVERY scene they shared is VERY different in the book. Book Ginny and Harry are just AWESOME they could have an entire movie alone talking about how their relationship developed! The most perfect match!

A lot been cut from the book between Harry and Ginny. No wonder you're confused. In book5 Order of the Phoenix, Ginny temporary replaced Harry as Seeker when Umbridge banned Harry playing Quidditch then year6 Ginny applied for Chaser position for Gryffindor team. Both played as Quidditch player so it sparks commonality between them. The secret training in Dumbledore's Army and Harry having saved Ginny in Chamber of Secrets probably helped bond between them. Moreover, during Goblet of Fire book, Mr. Weasley asked Vernon Dursley's permission to let Harry live in The Burrow for the rest of the summer before the Quidditch World Cup and after; so Harry spend the rest of summer with the Weasleys which gave him plenty of interaction with them including Ginny (that's the reason in the 4th movie none of the Dursleys can be seen).

I love their relationship, but in the books we have things between them, in the movies we have none, he just save her life, but that is it.
@xanderyodz9514Ай бұрын
@patriciaalvareztostado8170 yes it is. Do you think the reboot would be necessary to show the stuff between them though?
@patriciaalvareztostado8170Ай бұрын
@@xanderyodz9514 Yes, because is a a series for every year, so you have time to put the correct things, and in this case all the books are finished so you no what is most important to be there, not just about Ginny, but all charterers , like Dobby who in the movies we saw two times, and in the books, the only book who he isnt there is the 3er book
@xanderyodz9514Ай бұрын
@patriciaalvareztostado8170 yea Dobby and Winky and SPEW. Ludo Bagman and Peeves. How Hermione caught Rita Skeeter as a spying insect. The whole Department of Mysteries would be awesome to watch and maybe St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries too. Gaunt Family tree. I just hope there's a spark of mysticism and whimsical nature in the reboot though.

Again, the fact that changes added and details had to be cut for the film is always slightly disappointing for me (though the burning of the Burrows scene is a nice addition). I would like to see what your reactions are for the movies after you’ve read the books and come back to the films. Also, the Room of Requirements is just that, it provides you with whatever you require when you have needs which are desperate.
