And Harry is wearing Dudley's old stuff. Why throw away money on clothes for Harry, right? The magic world is indeed our world, only with help of enchantments and spells we muggles won't notice the magic, even if it's in front of us, like entrance door to The Leaky Cauldron and when students run to platform 9 3/4. When muggles occasionally Do notice; The Magical Law and Order Patrol are there almost immediately to empty their memory of any magic stuff, and correct any further damage.

Some clarifications (no spoilers!): 1) The four houses correspond to certain qualities: Gryffindor - to bravery and nobility, Slytherin - to cunningness and ambitions, Hufflepuff - to honesty anc hard work, and Ravenclaw - to wit and wisdom (it all depends on what prevails). In the books, Hermione once confesses that the Sorting Hat seriously wanted to sort her into Ravenclaw, but eventually chose Gryffindor. And you'll see why, oh yes. 2) Harry's scar is not a lightning bolt. It is clarified in the official additional materials that for the spells to be the most efficient, they should be accompanied by certain wand movements. Harry's scar is shaped like the Killing Curse movement. 3) Wizards indeed live much longer than ordinary people. For instance, Dumbledore is 109 or 110 at the beginning of Harry's first year at Hogwarts. How d'you like that? 4) In the book, Hagrid confesses that he wanted to turn Dudley into a pig, but it appeared that "he was already almost a pig" and all he lacked was a tail. 5) One cannot gain magic, but has to be born with it, and it starts manifesting when a child is around 8. At least four more cases of Harry's accidental magical outbursts are described in the books (like making his hair grow overnight when Aunt Petunia cut it off). And being able to control magic before getting a wand is a sign of extreme talent (you'll see). Ravenclaw here, by the way

General info on the movies. The first, and maybe second movies feel the most kiddy ones, and then they gradually grow more mature, even dark, as the series progress. But they are all good movies!

Feeling a bit annoyed with Ron being daft? You might want to know he's actually not that daft, but the films use their freedom of adaptation to hitch quite a bit of his wit to others, eg Hermione. In reality Ron didn't need Hermione to advise him to swish and flick in the girls' toilet, also it was Ron who saved them from the killer weed when Hermione was panicking. 🫤

No spoilers I promise. Unless you're ok with book spoilers. Yes it's discussed why Harry is the hero of the story. Harry is wearing Dudley's old clothes. It wasn't CGI Hagrid. It was his 6'10" stand in with the animatronic Hagrid face on. Muggles pretty much ignore magic thinking they're seeing things plus there are spells that make them look right past things or see something else. For instance if one stumbled onto Hogwarts all they'd see is a dangerous crumbling ruin and feel a sudden need to be somewhere else. Wizards are apparently harder to seriously injure. Neville's family thought he had almost no magic until his great-uncle dropped him from a window accidentally and Neville bounced down the lawn. 😂 "I don't want to think about Harry Potter killing someone" Oh dear. 😂 If it makes you feel better Harry didn't kill Quirrell in the book. He only blistered his skin and kept Quirrell in pain until Dumbledore arrived as Harry passed out from the pain in his head caused by being that close to Voldemort. Quirrell died because his body was weakened by Voldemort 's possession so when Voldemort abruptly left his body to get away Quirrell was too weak to survive.

Hello there people are still taking the magical journey and loving Harry Potter. FYI yes, being expelled from hogwarts is actually worse than death. Harmony like a lot of us would never want to give up all of their magical powers. Which exactly what would happen if you were to be expelled. CERBERUS.....
