Seems super mature and disciplined for his age. Albeit north is really struggling right now, Sheezel looks to be a promising leader in the years to come. Great piece Dwayne.

I don't, not after listening to Alastair Clarkson today. Even Alastair has no solution for North. North are the worst training side in the AFL, they are still training to learn how to learn to play the game, while other teams are beyond that and are specialising in their skill sets. Sheezel needs others to come in and assist him in getting North back on track. It's mind blowing how low North are, I feel sad for the fans to be honest. I also blame the AFL, they should have grabbed a hold of North a long time ago and taken control, now it's a dumpster fire.

I’m a dons fan, but the second I heard him speak in this vid I thought, “he should be in their leadership group” and he immediately said he was. This man sounds so confident, smart and exudes so much leader energy. This guy deserves more success than north is giving him. At this rate he will personally create success for north before north gets successful

Sheezel speaks very well and seems a very modest and talented young man who could make a great captain for North in the near future! Great positive player!!!👏🏼

Youngest team in the comp. The media vultures just need to give them a break. I mean most of them are teenagers or early 20's. They're boys ffs

Very bright and would be great to know if the team shares this so they can be in tune with each others goals and help each other get there as a unit in the end

When will all the other blokes in his team take the lead from Sheezel's clear committment to training systematically and well? No surprise it translates to consistently good footy.

At least he recognises that the players need to get stronger at demanding more from each other. Its just too nice down at Arden street.

There is an apparent lack of desperation and willingness to give every game absolutely everything. Strength comes over time, but is up to the coaching staff to ensure that is expedited through a strict training regime. Before the season we were told that fitness levels had greatly increased on last season, but I haven't seen it. That is inexcusable. Clarko and his team have to accept some responsibility for some of the obvious shortcomings.

The assistance package North got was tokenism and of very little benefit. Supporters from other clubs made a big deal about it, but getting priority picks that fall into the mid 20s at best when all for bar one of those have to be traded is unlikely to land any quality players in a trade. Out of the players they brought in with those, only Logue is decent, but he did his ACL. Tucker, Fisher and Stephens are just not good enough, which is why their clubs were happy to let them go.

A club and team that doesn't listen to criticism and advice is going nowhere. North Melbourne should be listening to it all, ticking off boxes until they are confident none of it no longer applies. That is how you improve, that is how you find perfection. Not by living in an echo chamber of people telling you, you're wonderful.
@Fiasco36 ай бұрын
North Melbourne is more than their high young draft picks, it's the other players that hold North's fate in the balance.
