JM Not exaggerating but I was in a very bad place physically and gave everyone a scare. I'm an older person but a huge fan of Harry. I don't remember much about the night but I do remember in my near comatose state I heard Harry singing "Girl Crush" as he did in Japan. In the distance there was a train whistle blowing, it was haunting but I believe Harry helped save my life that night. 🐾⚓🐾

Even as a big fan of Little Big Town, and also of this song in particular, I actually prefer this version. Can't listen to the original without thinking about Harry doing it. He put his own twist on it, and just made it his own without disrespecting the original. What I love about Harry Styles doing covers in general :)

Pam Shirley exactly! I mean, I will still listen to it if it comes on the radio or something. But as much as I love LBT, there wasn’t nearly as much passion in the vocals as Harry put into it, which gave it more of that desperation feel. And to me, that’s the whole point to the song in the first place. Definitely prefer Harry’s, hands down.

I generally don't like slow paced songs most of the time. Saw Kiwi and that got me into Harry. Love literally anything he has done. I don't know what it is but he just stirs something in me that makes me want to stop in my tracks and listen to him. How cheesy but it's true

I think the reason harry feels so much in this song is it reminds him of the first time he was in love which was his girlfriend before xfactor and she fits the description of the long blonde hair and the perfume which he still remembers the smell of

Harry’s version of this song takes it all to a higher level. I love how you react to all the changes in tone and the harmonies and the notes that he hits. The sound is Smooth and hypnotic and I love how his vocals just sit on top of it all. I love experiencing watching other people , Especially you, react and experience things for the first time that I already love. It’s the greatest to see you hear each song of Harry’s and Louis. Any of his his songs especially live I would vote for you to react in a heartbeat. To ghost, just a little bit of your heart. Especially on covers, I don’t hear many people react to the lyrics because we all know they aren’t hits. But I believe sometimes there’s a method to his madness in his choices. This song by Little Big Town was obviously song by a woman about having a girl crush and was taken at the time as a LGBQ song. Notice the lyrics sometime. Harry purposely didn’t change the words or the pronouns, and chose to sing about having a “girl crush“. But the lyrics tell a different story. He wants to taste her lips, because they taste like you she wants her long blonde hair and her magical touch because then you might like me more. His girl crush is actually a desire to have the things that she has because if he got those that maybe he could win you i.e. her boyfriend
