Your unapologetic love for Harry’s music is so refreshing mate! Welcome. We’ve been TELLING YALL the guy was talented but were often dismissed for being fan girls lol. Like, yes Harry is hot but we actually like his music! Honestly, his entire album is FIRE and his covers are all incredible. He wrote several songs for other artists as well and performed with Stevie/Fleetwood Mac a bunch of times. Her and Kacey Musgraves (Still The One) are the only artists who have gotten the pleasure. He does have the same band. He calls them CHASM. Clare Uchima - keys and backup vocals Harry Styles - lead vocals and rhythm guitar Adam Prendergast - Bass guitar and backup vocals Sarah Jones - Drums and backup vocals Mitch Rowland - Lead guitar and backup vocals We know Mitch and Sarah are still involved in the second era (they met through Harry and started dating). Harry was recently at an Ariana Grande concert with Mitch and Adam so Adam might be involved as well (the only doubt is that he has small children and touring was a little bit upsetting for him the last time). Clare is a mystery. She defended her friend of a rape accusation and kinda threw the victim under the bus a while back, fans really came for her and she kind of started fighting them on social media. She hasn’t really been involved in anything that we know of since that but it’s all up in the air until Harry actually performs live again. Harry can actually play the piano quite proficiently (he wrote Sign of the Times basically by himself) but I don’t know if he’s comfortable enough to play it live and he seems to finally be comfortable around a guitar. There was a second guitarist in the Sign of the Times performance you watched, his name is Alex Salibian (he was part of Harry’s writing camp in Jamaica for his first album), but he’s a session musician and doesn’t really do touring. Harry had wrist surgery in 2017 and couldn’t play guitar for a while so Kid Harpoon (co writer of Lights Up) stood in. So anyway, I can’t see Harry trading guitar for keys tbh and he needs a key player. Not sure if Clare will come back or if he’ll get someone else. The others seem to be on board and according to Rolling Stone they were involved in the recording of the second album. Harry has also been producing his music as well. And he plays drums and bass guitar. He learned to play the dulcimer for this album too. He’s all around an incredible musician and you should check out his music recommendations, his latest Rolling Stone interview is filled with them. I feel like you’ll find a lot of common ground with him. Also, the dude is just so incredibly funny and charismatic. So kind and so lovely. It’s really hard to not fall in love with him if you’ve been exposed to him for a while.

Tbh I think that a lot One Directions stuff from Midnight Memories album on have an old rock edge. Starts off pretty poppy and gets more rock and folk as they progress on. Harry sound is just a more precise version of it. You should check out Niall Horan too if you like the 70s eagles sound. And Louis Tomlinson draws from 90s Oasis 100%. I really appreciate you being unbiased enough to take a chance.

The 'sign of the times' actually he wrote it in 15 minutes and ended up recording on his studio in 2 hours. Btw I like your reaction! Very original.
