Man, this song really is special. For years, I have been in love with Andy Rourke's bassline. I've always liked Marr's guitar too, but not on the same level. Your take on it has just opened my eyes to how incredibly beautiful Johnny Marr's guitar really is. The riff that starts at 0:59 is so stunning it's crazy. What a sound !

@@poetorfool7443 It’s easy to get it about 80% there, but to play it exactly the way Johnny did is a little tricky. The reason I wanna see Harry cover it is because literally every other cover of it on KZbin is played wrong.

@@Liam.2000 I actually learned it the exact way Johnny plays it, I got help from various videos and mostly the videos of Johnny playing it etc, seriously I was surprised at how easy it felt to me even though it was the first smiths song I learned and the seconded solo song I learned on guitar ever, very easy to sing it simultaneously as well ☺️

It’s tuned up a full step, just like what Marr used to do, it’s also at a slightly different frequency than a440hz
