no one creates anything at all ever .He is describing life in general without realizing it. Life is a set up there is no one that does anything ever .all this play is going on with no author/owner. This is freedom and knowledge. If it makes you feel good inside to believe that a concept "Johnny Marr" is a legend then good for you, but it is not the truth. The truth is already whole and complete limitless being.
@chelsearocks7777 жыл бұрын
interesting; i've been having headaches living and accepting 'the real world' as it is, because i've been stuck with a quite similar theory myself, relating to free will and such. could you elaborate a little futher on this topic,if you have time?
@nathanjones40657 жыл бұрын
Well you just might be ready for Vedanta. shiningworld.com is an excellent site that explains everything that a person who is ready to realize truth needs to know in order to free themselves from limiting ideas and all human suffering. I am not a teacher as such although I can share what I know. Knowledge can be transferred but experience can't. The good news is that we are all already totally complete and free as we are. The only problem is ignorance of this ever present fact. When our minds are clear and quiet enough to assimilate that; "I am non-dual, ever-present, whole and complete - limitless awareness" then we are freed of all apparent suffering and limitation because the truth is that we as consciousness/awareness have always been eternally free. We have just forgotten and ignore the fact hence ignorance and the knowledge that removes the veil. I sincerely hope that you visit the site as there are brilliant teachers there who are established in truth and can wield skillfully the means of impersonal knowledge that will set you free.. if you want it enough, and are qualified to receive it. This basically means whether or not your mind is open enough so that all the conditioned falsehoods can drop away of their own accord.. Very good luck my friend. Oh and don't hesitate to contact me if you have a question, although as I said the teachers at shiningworld.com are excellent.

I’ve watched a few of these videos and what he plays without the band is never impressive on its own. It’s when you combine it with the rest of the instruments and his guitar overdubs that it takes it’s true epic form. That’s actually a great musical mind anyone can learn to “shred” on the guitar. Few are actual talented composers.

So the takeaway is that Johnny Marr just noodling around aimlessly on a new guitar makes better music than 99.99% of guitarists playing something they've practiced for weeks. "Yeah I wrote two classic songs in the space of an hour just playing around with this 555 that the studio bought for me."

That's the problem with talent but just some chord progressions dont make an amazing song. As a composer myself the worst part is the lyrics. It is very very difficult to SAY something that is original, attractive and that at the same time FITS the melody, style and rythim. I can only guess that after Marr presented that to mozz then a conversation had to take place between them both and probably adjustments to the text were done. I wonder if Marr had any influence on the texts or if it was only Mozz explaining his views on the world. Fascinating artists.

This is my favourite Smiths song ans the song that changed my life. I was 16 years old and had gone into boots to look for some computer games for the zx spectrum, when Boots had a separate department for these items. I was browsing at these games, when all of sudden this song started and just swept over me. I had never heard music with such beauty in it. Within seconds i had forgotten about the computer games and was searching for where this music was coming from. I eventually tracked it down to a smoked glass music centre with a tape machine that was running. Then i panicked, the song finished. Who where they ? What was this song called. I momentarily thought about nicking or asking if i could take the cassette away with me, then i realised that perhaps the best idea was to ask at the counter where this young bloke was working. I asked him if he knew who that song was by, " The Smiths......" he said and i thought, wow, what a name for a band. I asked him if he had got the song and found out it was a single and he duly placed it on the counter. There was the title " Heaven knows i'm miserable now " with a picture of what i now know is Viv Nicholson on a Mancherster street. I just looked at it in awe. I knew i had found something very special, the musical sound, the band name and the title of the song, plus the sleeve photo, it all appealed to my sensibilities. I took it home and played it again and again and some 33 years later, i'm still playing it and getting the same feelings i got when i first heard the song in that shop. To see Johnny play this song in the video is so emotional. Those chords and the style of play are simply beautiful. Thank you Johnny for writing this song, you're a genius man.

He's a professional DJ who lives in NYC (last I checked anyway). Musically, Rourke should be at least as successful as Johnny Marr. He jammed with Johnny during his solo Messenger concert at Webster Hall. I would have attended if I'd known ahead of time. Probably the closest thing to a reunion that anybody will ever see of The Smiths in this lifetime at least. One more thing; he was so hard up for money that at one point he auctioned off a Yamaha BB2000 bass in order to make ends meet. A man who composed some of the greatest bas lines in the history of popular or 'indie' music deserved better, don't you agree?

Believe in Lord Jesus Christ who alone can give you a reason to live a abundant life... no matter what hell is real place & all great musicians no matter how good they are in music it cannot save them. Only Jesus Christ can save you from all your sins & wash you to make you brand new to play rock for His glory by His Grace He can make you high by His breath with no alcohol. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him shouldn't perish but will have everlasting life (John3:16) I was a drug addict awesome guitar player but was saved from deathbed when I was about to die because of over drugdose. I called upon Jesus He is real He healed me from sickness & saved me from deathbed by His mercies not based on my good works which I did none in my life.. but His Grace is for all wicked sinners to be saved made righteous without performance through faith in His Blood... JESUS LOVES YOU WITHOUT CONDITIONS OR LAWS.. HE IS THE ONLY TRUE LAW IF YOU BELIEVE IN HIM YOU'RE FREE FROM LAWS OF SIN DEATH & That's how rock without rules by the Holy ghost blaze.... JESUS CARES FOR YOU MY FRIEND. HE DIED & ROSE UP FROM DEAD TO GIVE YOU HEAVEN IN EARTH & DESIRES OF YOUR HEART AND HE CAN FULFILL YOUR DREAMS BECAUSE HE IS THE FATHER OF CREATION & CREATIVITY & TIME. HE LOVES YOU & WANTS TO GIVE LIFE OF ETERNITY TO PLAY GUITAR JUST RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD & BELIEVE IN HIS ETERNAL SACRIFICE HE DID ALREADY FOR YOU & I TO REDEEM US FROM CURSE SIN & THE LAW THROUGH FAITH IN HIM. PRAY TO HIM HE IS WAITING WITH ARMS OPEN WIDE FOR YOU BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU WITHOUT CONDITIONS. COME AS YOU ARE TO HIM.

"I was happy in the haze of a drunker hour but Heaven knows I'm miserable now. I was looking for a job and then I found a job and Heaven knows I'm miserable now. In my life, why do I give valuable time with people who don't care if I live or die?" Heaven helped send that guitar to Johnny Marr. The riff came out naturally when he picked up that guitar. Wonderful!

Are you off today? I want to see you, but I have to go to my friend’s house. This could be my last day of “freedom” because I’ll start working tomorrow. I miss you!

It was cancelled. Are you at work. It’s been almost 3 weeks since I last had glimpses of you. If you are working today, can you come out when you are done for the day? I need to see you for good luck. Please?

I kind of know what he means. I'd play things I'd worked on in my bedroom and our drummer would give me funny looks. To me, it's was perfectly logical, but I'd be doing weird time signatures without thinking about it.

Had this song in my head all day, so went to YT to see what other versions were out there, and found this. I ate this story up, but wish they didn't play the song over the top of him talking about it. I could barely hear what he had to say. Funny how so much great art is made alone.
