1. The reveal that Killgar is, ironically, one of the most apporachable members of his species who was also discriminated and mocked for being relatively soft for a Killgarian, literally and figuratively, adds a nice dimension to his character 2. I like that we don't get a clear answer if the Killgarians are *actually* dead somehow or if they're just *dead to Killgar* , as we see that even his own father was somewhat ashamed of how different he was.

Well Partridge likes to use subtle hints for stuff so the use of the word exterminated is interesting to me. Like maybe they were killed by something and maybe Killgar had something to do with it.

The best comedies are capable of walking the thin line and allow itself to seamlessly integrate actual character development into it without ruining the comedic pacing, nor the emotional pacing. I would say this has succeeded in walking that tightrope.

It's not immeasurable. You will be crushed by the ocean's pressure, not its weight (pressure is caused by weight, but still - not the same thing). The ocean's pressure can be measured, actually. The most pressure possible in the ocean is at the mariana trench. Also, length/depth is measured in meters, not "leagues".

In past updates I remember that Partridge, but I may be mistaken, wrote that Kilgar truly believes to be the last one of his kind and a life altering moment from him would be reuniting with another survivor that would become his sworn nemesis. So maybe Kilgor was driven away because his lack of bioarmor, lack of wits and general uselessness made him an outcast about his pit-brothers, he thus avoided the exinction-level event destroying his species and if "Kilgore's Enemy" in past Harry's updates is still around he blames Kilgore for surviving other, "better" killgarians

I like to think Killgarians are like lobsters, and the reason all of them are dead except for Killgar is actually due to their bio-armor. Lobsters can potentially live forever (theyre unvincible!) due to having no telomeres in their dna.. but the longer they live, the bigger and heavier their exoskeletons get (bio-armor!). The shell of their exoskeleton grows so big and heavy though, it inevitably ends up putting the lobster into exhaustion and thus kills them.
