My rich uncle in England had a coach built, two door Silver Shadow in the 1960s. It was either a Mulliner Park Ward or a James Young. It was double the price of a standard Silver Shadow and was a very beautiful thing. He used to drive it on rough farm tracks when he went shooting and the wheel trims often popped off. Taking the wheel trims/hub caps off was what the boy racers did in the late 1960s if they couldn't afford "mag wheels". It was fun to see a boy racer, coach built, RR. Harry's arctic Silver Shadow seems to me to be in the same weird mind space. Good on you, Harry.

This is the level between bodge and restoration - a good, solid job so no bodge and not going to cost the earth like a full on resto. I feel like this is the best course of action for this car.
