The Captain's existential crisis during cheesiest man alive is what keeps me coming back. There's nothing like watching a guy begin to question his purpose and meaning in life while attempting a cannon rush or trying to figure out why the opponent is playing nonstandard.

It pains me sometimes to watch it. I feel that if Harstem looses, it is very often because he becomes either very scared and thinks he is behind and then does not use his army for far too long time, or he becomes crazy optimistic about how much he is ahead. In all cases his emotions seem to be his worst enemy.

I love these. Since i stopped playing myself i dont enjoy watching the super high level play as much. No longer remember all the players and the pro meta. These are just pure sc2 fun. High level but no drama or technical plays that are over my head

In the third game, you did not give a GLHF. This actually gives your opponent a clue. If you're in too much of a rush to give a greeting, then you're going to do a cannon rush.

When someone doesn't say gl hf I immediately scout for cheese, it means they are busy, potentially tilted or an asshole so cheese is like 3x as likely lol. It's funny seeing those people shocked when I find out when they've clued me in themselves

I've never seen a cannon rush start so good then get thrown so bad lol. It happens though from personal experience. The cannon rush goes "too good" and your brain shuts off since youve "already won"

There has to be a math to this, im not good at math or at starcraft but pylons take X time how many workers does he have to pull to get through a pylon screen and a cannon before both are active, and will it be able to fire enough to redeem its worth. Thats the math you need to have from my perspective. Also alternatively if you can build and cancel a certain amount of cannons/pylons before gateway/marines/zerglings/queens comes out can you meanwhile net a higher mining count than the enemy and then just always do that to always get a headstart into a standard game? If so i think you can change the meta on some maps to just always do that and enemy has to respond or die while at the same time get behind on mining.
