I don't know what to say. Here I sit, reading this complaint form about how much damage this guys supposedly did in the early game, thinking it is nothing but a lie, just to find out, it all is true! But how does he lose this game after killing over 30 SCVs early on?!?! I guess we'll have to find out together.

Dudes, that was a horrible game. I know you'll both beat my diamond ass with eyes closed but as a viewer this was like Bronze League Heroes. Opening with Hellions versus oracles, blinking like a madman, not killing the (single) revealed unsieged tank to snipe the raven which still got his IM off and using templar for their autoattack.... And claiming imbalance?!

Because you only look at micro for this game. You need to look at differences not visible here. The difference is that: 1- master players macro very well when attacking at the same time. Platinum players micro and don't macro at all at the same time. And in general the timing is much better for master league. For exemple if you do the same BO, your oracle will be 30s later. 2- master players react and scout very well during the game. This game have some mistakes here, but if you cheese a master player, the reaction will be very good for exemple

Come up with the worst possible build you can on purpose and do it blindly and you won't be able to be in silver unless your APM and macro is really low. and That's just talking about an average 4k player, not a pro like Byun

@@tambaz2276 If Serral goes double Hatch before pool against me - a 4.5K MMR Random - he can't use his awesome APM with Queens or Lings because his pool isn't finished before mine arrive. gg. That's why he never does that build, because its insane and he would not be in the pro scene at all. Even in a scenario where a pro could use their micro - say if Byun does a proxy 7 Rax - that is a terrible build with too much production and its scouted by default. So Byun can micro all he wants but I could teach a Gold leaguer to destroy him. So... yeah it is true. You don't seem to get the connection between builds and macro.... Build orders literally determine how well you can macro while staying safe. That's the reason pros make them. My APM is pretty mediocre at 120, inflated to 150 with Zerg. There's plenty of whiny players with double my APM who are stuck on much lower MMR... there's a reason for that.

ok, ghost is still bullshit tho, this thing of emp removing shields has to go the way of the dodo for yesterday, the ghost in the TvZ match up counters: Viper, Infestor, Lurker, Broodlord, queen and Ultralisk. That already shows the power of this single unit that is as cheap as a stalker in supply and resources but here is what it counters in the protoss roster: Zelot, stalker, sentry, carrier, High templar, Dark Templar, Archon, Voidray, Tempest, Colossus, Phoenix ,Mothership ,The nexus and shield battery all of these units lose half their hp or worse agaist this joke of a unit, that for 100/100 can force an entire mineral line to vacate and force the toss to scramble across the map for the nuke, creating an opportunity to jump on the opponent with as little as a shift click. this crap is just unfair, the ghost is way too cheap for what it provides in the TvP match up, we all can see the Ghost+liberator combo anahilate toss even at the pro level and for that reason i think this feature of the emp has to go, its already Huge value being able to 0 energy as is because it renders spellcasters almost unviable vs Terran but the shield remouval is just ripping the piss on the toss.

Spell casters aren't non viable even with ghosts on the map. you just have to use your brain on how you position them and hit the spells before the ghosts EMP you. it's on the Terran to find your spell casters and EMP them before you manage to hit his army. and if you do hit your AOE damage spells Terran doesn't have something equivalent. I don't understand why you feel entitled to freely roam with spell casters and use them whenever and wherever you please against Terran. their style just focuses on countering your spell casters rather than having a spell slug fest. On the shields thing I agree though, that part should be nerfed. maybe make it tick like storm instead.

Now addressing your point, the ghost is faster than any caster toss has bar the oracle, so if you line up 2 EMPs its straight up impossible for the toss caster to win the bout, there is a reason why NOBODY builds storm vs terran in the pro scene even tho storm is more powerful and consistent than disruptors ever will be, in every tier of play from plat 1 to pro you shoot 3 disruptor novas and kill 1 marauder because of stim, while HTs can insta hit with storm and feedback medivacs and still nobody uses them, not even once, not even with the warp prism taxi trick, if that isn't being unviable idk what it is, because even just 4 storms would go a long way to prevent vikings from shreding colossus, and another thing. That wasn't my complaint at all i said in my comment that ghost can keep this property of EMP otherwise storm'd be way too strong vs terran since they can't re-max like zerg and depend on medivacs for their army to function, my problem wasn't with the EMP energy drain, it was exclusevily with the shield damage because not only 2 to 6 supply of units in 3 seconds half the HP of as many as 80 supply of units but ON TOP OF THAT they also make enemy casters inviable meaning you cannot counter them unless you're an AI that doesn't need to find them on the map because you know where they are on the code, the shield drain makes the ghost way too good not to have which means you can't even surprise you opponent with templars or sentries because the ghost being there is a guarantee. edit: "their style just focuses on countering your spell casters rather than having a spell slug fest", ah what fucking style? no matter what build the terran is playing on the TvP match up Ghost will show up, their style makes the casters inviable along with any other form of AoE, archons'd be awesome vs terran but you can't use them, can you?, people build infestors and vipers vs terran even with ghots because they're cheaper than toss casters and actually microable, vipers fly and infestors not only are fast but can burrow as well meanwhile sentry has to stay with the army ball for shield and HT is slower than your grandma.

Blinked forwards into tank fire and not backwards to reset the engagement. Don't blink into tank fire unless you know the tank is gonna die before it gets a second shot.

Despite terrible blink micro it's kinda obvious that terran is imba on lower skill levels, mainly because protoss doesn't have any basic units that can deal with tank stim pushes effectively. Yeah sure you can go for early zealot speed, but then you dont have blink. Or you can go for blink, but then your micro better be perfect or a few marauders will ruin you. The point is that on lower skill levels both terran and zerg can lose a fight or two or some workers and still win. On the other hand protoss is always one small mistake away from defeat. Widow mine drop you didn't see - whole probe line dead in an instant, gg. A marine tank push you didn't intercept and slow to a crawl deep on terran side of the map, gg. Bad blink, gg.

Agreed. This has been my experience so far at 2.9k MMR in the NA server. I've been playing for four months and when I got into plat 2 I sort of hit a wall mostly comprised of terrans building a bunch of marines and doing nothing else. Easily 50% of my games are against Terrans. I hardly see any protoss.

@@linceed Yup, pvt on that level became cheese or lose. If terran isnt crippled early and gets to ghosts or a bunch of marine marauder tank, its over. What's funny for me is that when I manage to defeat that bio tank push (my mmr is around 3,5k on EU) most terrans instantly start complaining how protoss is imba. Their attitude is "well I built 2 tanks 2 medivacs and some bio, I should autowin"

I can tell you've never made Masters with both races. Your post implies a tank push from a Terran will even remotely look like a tank push from a pro... nope, it will be easily defensible garbage lol. A good Tank push requires a great build, so if he wins the better player won. If the Protoss had done his job and "learned a build order" then a small mistake won't matter. I am not taking the side of either T or P, both races say "One small mistake" and its always the calling card of players who want an excuse for being bad. 'I made one "small" mistake by forward blinking to my death like an imbecile' lol.

marines + marauders(require tech lab) with stim + shield + concussive + medivacs + siege tanks is a lot of tech, it's a full fledged complex army composition with synergy. why on earth are you expecting to counter it with basic units? Also, it's like you've never heard of the concept of a timing attack, any army tends to be a bit stronger in their timing attack if you just let them get it.
