I bought one too. Haven't done the half hour no pressure break-in yet. For less than the price of the battery and charger I couldn't resist

I never did the half hour no pressure break in. Probably because I didn't bother reading the manual. I wonder if it's too late now? lol
@bwselectronic Жыл бұрын
@@3rdpig I don't read every manual, but I did read part of this one. I can't remember if I saw a video that said do a break-in or if I decided to look at manual first. Sometimes there are instructions in the manual you have to follow to keep your warranty. Anyway, I'm gonna do it just to be safe. There may be a coating or something that needs seated so it needs to be run in

@@3rdpig I finally got it done a couple weeks ago. It ran about 25min on the 4ah battery running nonstop no pressure. I'd say the 4ah would last for a while in normal use

Back to $201. You got a phenomenal deal! Kind of loud but it’s nice that is a battery operated compressor. I have the 2 gallon Fortress from Harbor Freight and it’s whisper quiet but it’s 110V.
@3rdpig Жыл бұрын
Walmart puts up those deals and sometimes they're only at that price for a few hours. You can get on their text message list but sometimes you just have to watch the website or use a tool that sets price alerts. I got the compressor kit for $69, the shop vac, tool only, for $29 and a brushless drill/driver, again tool only, for $19. Before I could even get a video made the price went back up.

I bought this compressor on sale as well. I also have a Metabo HPT 36v cordless compressor. For the money, the Hart was a great deal.

17:41 in your video took me back 25 years ago to putting a staple in my thumb at the box company. you have my thumb twinging. Feel like I need to put a band aid on it.

The compressor is $30 now
@3rdpig Жыл бұрын
Where'd you see that? I just now looked it up and the kit is $200 and the bare compressor is $115. I'd buy two more at $30 each. Hart also makes something called a "digital inflator" that's about $30, is that what you saw?

Yes I would suggest next time you take the battery and charger out the night before and charge it overnight and the next day you can make your video and then show that your battery is charged fully so you can show it to your audience don't forget your safety goggles or gloves as prescribed when you're dealing with things like this? Also while you're at it why don't you submit a request on Project Farm on their video to do a side-by-side non-biased test between this one and the most highest selling are popular brand?
@3rdpig Жыл бұрын
To answer your questions, I did charge it overnight. In fact I had two 4ah batteries that charged overnight. But consider that I typically have 3-4 hours of video not everything survives the editing process. Sometimes something important gets cut and I don't notice it until it's brought to my attention, and by then it's too late. It doesn't mean I'm an idiot, it just means I'm a lousy editor. As far as safety gear is concerned, I was using all the safety gear I felt necessary for the task. Maybe I should have a disclaimer like Derek at Vice Grip Garage, "I'm an idiot, don't do what I do" or words to that effect. I'd rather just make a deal with my audience, I'll leave the determination of what safety gear you feel necessary up to you and you return the favor. I'll take your suggestion of a collab with Project Farm into consideration. PJ is a very big channel and I have little doubt that Todd is a very busy man. And remember, PJ is a business, I'm just a guy having fun.

Hart is TTI's biggest joke on the American consumer market. Super cheap prices buy you super cheap products that you end up paying for in the long run. Buying from Walmart will only give you grief later on. Save up your money and buy a product that will serve you well.

I've used the hart line for years now never had a problem. I think you talking just to be talking
@dolrr547 ай бұрын
@fluidflacka Sorry buddy, but I'm a retired machinist and electrician. My exams of Hart tools have shown me that they are no better quality than Black and Decker are to DeWalt. They are the lowest consumer grade tools on the market. Hell, even Harbor Freight's Bower tools are better than Hart tools.👎
@BigDirtDawg5 ай бұрын
Well we know you’ve never used a hart tool. Hart makes great power tools.
@dolrr545 ай бұрын
@BigDirtDawg No, Milwaukee, Makita, DeWalt, Rigid, Bosch and even Ryobi make great tools. Hart is leftover parts from making great tools.
@fluidflacka5 ай бұрын
@dolrr54 yea your definitely just talking lol, leftover parts would mean the tools use the same parts as the brands you named correct? And own at least 50 hart tools the only one I'm unhappy with is the 4 inch angle grinder it's a little under powered other than that they all are great tools for the price
