I'm 80 and just started Portfolio Diet because of elevated LP(a). in an effort to reduce it. Have been following Sinclair for over a year and I now feel hopeful about living better than I did. Also eat on a time restricted eating plan and have started a better daily exercise plan It makes me happy to do all this.

Humans are created to live forever by God the Father. Just as the universe is in existence eternally humans are meant to exist forever in peace and harmony. However since the world is corrupted by sin, people cannot escape the trauma of growing old and eventually dying. Doctors can prolong life in a few years but that is nothing compared to the fear-inspiring power of God which holds the unimaginable vastness of the universe in existence eternally. Seize the day, life is beautiful. Open your eyes to the beauty of nature and the vastness of heaven. Ecclesiastes 11:9 Young people, enjoy your youth. Be happy while you are still young. Do what you want to do, and follow your heart's desire. But remember that God is going to judge you for whatever you do. Amen

I am a woman and I have been recently sad, confused and discouraged because of all the different information on the same subject. Basically rabbit hole. You guy's just gave me a sense of peace and assurance to stick to what I followed in a first place. Thank you is not sufficiently enough to express my appreciation of you both. Ed it would be tremendous to do a video specifically designed for women as I feel there are certain differences we should be doing according to our cycle as an example. Regardless please stay alive as long as possible because we need you. Sending smile and hugs to both of you.

These branches of science are difficult to apply for a variety of reasons. I suggest you stick to ancient healthy diets such as the Mediterranean or Indian, going for their plant-based varieties. They have been studied by these scientists and they only tweaked a few things here and there, minor elements. You can't go wrong.

Ed, This is my first ever by chance to come across your video interview with David Sinclair. Both of you are great people. I'm fascinated and always interested in this longevity subject by observations, analysis, practices what I know of by eating and drinking good healthy food, doing physical and mental/spiritual exercises. I'm 73/74 but feel 20 or more younger. I run regularly. I don't take any tablets. What David says 95% I agree with. He is absolutely right. The other 5% has not mentioned yet is how our mind shape our lives, our health. David is a rare human being who thinks for common good to others. Ed, you are great. God bless you both. Love and peace. Topo xx

This is a great interview (but because he’s like me… I’ve watched or read volumes on longevity,) but there are still questions we have because we’re not scientist --and Ed is asking them! It’s just a marvelous interview. And this is easily the 10th one of Dr. Sinclair’s I’ve watched.

Thank you. This is amazing. I naturally have never had breakfast. Rarely lunch, and eat my meal at night. I am 54, and my patients I work with in the community do not believe my age. They think I am late 30s early 40s. I do have fibromyalgia, which is challenging and affects my exercise, but I do live as healthily as possible. Can you possibly do an interview on fibromyalgia and cfs? That would be amazing. Thank you.

In a couple of months I will be 77, looking at least 20 years younger. Longevity for me has to do naturally with my DNA, as several family members lived to their late 90s, including my great uncle who was 99. I've been a vegetarian for almost 40 years, have played a lot of tennis and golf, did a lot of skiing when I was younger living 15 minutes from the ski area. I'm a rather extreme walker, averaging 500km / month. In 2022 effectively the distance from San Francisco to NYC. Mentally, very acute, do a lot of sudocus daily, read a lot, amongst other things. I don't consider myself to be old, and quite frankly, I can't relate to people my age. Staying healthy is a priority.

I've listened to a lot of podcasts and remember Charles Poliquinn saying on an episode with either Tim or Mike Mahler that searching published articles on usage of fish oil (which he said improves cellular signaling, because a cell's exterior wall is a lipid layer) showing that increasing fish oil dosages reduced all forms of diseases ranged in the thousands. Fish oil consumption improves cellular signaling (cells don't forget what they are), and as a result diseases / aging processes are diminished. Also, regarding metformin, the natural herbal remedy that preceded (and was the model for formulating the pharmaceutical) is berberine. That one came out on the podcast with Tim. I'm always a fan of natural earth remedies over things made in labs myself, and it's available to everyone. As with any supplement, make sure it's a good brand not made in China (Thorne is my personal go-to brand for anything).

Hope we see some breakthrough soon. But it's too late for my folks both pushing 90. It's just heartbreaking to see they don't recognize anyone anymore because of dementia. Surely Mr. Sinclair knows the pain as he lost his mother at a relatively young age and it's remarkable how he translated his grief into a lifelong quest to cure ageing (or at least to slow down.)

What an amazing show. Thank you for bringing such cutting edge information to us. As a mom, I always wonder how to help or maximize our children. Like I feel like my 4 year old son needs to eat 3 meals and he doesn’t think or feels the same. Maybe I just need to relax

How much do different cell populations vary in terms of epigenetic age though? I'm not super convinced that a blood test is an adequate measure of overall aging.

Does health insurance will support this revolution on aging and pay for testing/ specific blood work/ genetic testing ?

I would be for, and that includes approving, procedures that turn off bad disease-causing genes, if and only if a person's own genetic material were used to do it and not someone or some animals genetic material. The reason why this differentiation is so critical and will be key to getting such procedures approved, is because there are currently a lot of people out there with non-human DNA in them, and not altering a human to a partial or fully non-human DNA status would be a prerequisite of any kind of approval for drugs or therapies. First and foremost, we need to protect the Adamic race who are purebred children of Adam and Eve. We know the ones with non-human DNA have already been monkeying with their own DNA for eons, therefore it is the Adamic race that must be protected.
