For those interested, I think the case referenced is ALASKA PACKERS' ASS'N v. DOMENICO et al. The case in question involves a more complex for a payment -- $50 + 2 cents per fish -- and deals with the workers' claim that their refusal to perform in accordance with the original contract was justified based on the fact that they were given faulty nets. The workers demanded that the $50 be raised to $100 and, as was said in the video, the appellant had no choice but to enter a new contract (which they then refused to perform, they claim, justifiably). Ultimately courts found that the joint-profit nature of the business meant that the appellant had no reason to give faulty nets; and even if the nets were faulty, it would also be at the appellant's expense, as it meant less fish for them to can and sell. The courts ruled in favour of the appellant.

I guess the workers will not win because they made a treat to him and my teacher said you cannot sign a contract or it would not be lawful if the dealer is treatened.
