This video was super helpful, I managed to get lucky and do it on my second try! I recently bought the Cute version to kinda relive my childhood and was wondering, what is the alternate way to sell the gloves over going to Van?

It doesnt make as much money and it takes a while but I usually buy a bunch of relax tea leaves and ship them or sell them to Van. Each stack sells for around 100k

This is so useful! I just picked DS Cute back up again and this helps tremendously. Kinda sad I can't sell accessories to Van and have to haggle to get about 160k per stack of 99 relax tea leaves but hey, still easier money than just farming and mining lol

I got the glitch on the first try both times. The amount of time I spent on this game as a child only to have my saves corrupt and have to start over is ridiculous. Picking it up again and being able to use this glitch is awesome great work and video. You've gained another subscriber 😁

Played HMDS for so long when I was younger, didn’t even know there was so much to do in it until the last few years 😂 I have an old save that is on year 28 and I still don’t have enough sprites to get married! Tried this glitch on my new save and I’m astounded to say I got it first try. Still have to sell the items to Van but I’m so happy! THANK YOU!

Thank you for this video and all your videos really! I am working on my first "speedrun" of HMDS for harvest goddess marriage (I have the revised copy), and this glitch was giving me trouble. I had my husband try and he said to flex your bicep really hard and then tap... it actually worked 😂 so theres a tip if some people find themselves impossibly slow. I am also using an emulator to dig through memory locations of the revised version, since I did not see a document with that (mem locations are different per version)

I don't have the same DS as you and it's not working. I kept trying many times but it didn't work :( I can't be that fast by pressing double A idk why. What should I do?

The type of DS you have doesn't matter. It is very hard to do at first, so keep practicing. Sometimes it helps if you think about trying to do a half-press, so the first press is so fast that it's as if you didn't fully press the button down. I know that if I hear the button make any sound on the first press, I am too slow. My advice would be too keep trying. And maybe sell some things to get more money so you can try over and over without having to reload. It is frustrating and difficult to master, but it will work eventually.

Regardless of the system, the game always runs at 60 fps, so it should not be any different. You do need to be very quick, because the game runs at 60 fps, so it is one tap, followed by a second tap exactly 1/12 of a second later. It is hard to do but keep trying!
