To me it's so delightful whenever harvest time comes. I too planted potatoes in three five gallon containers for the first time, so I was watching verycarefully.I be!ieve mine need more time to grow. Thank you to you Aiden and Abby.

This is my first year growing potatoes. Next year I’ll grow in pots because you’ve convinced me how much easier it is to harvest from pots. Can’t wait till it’s time to harvest!

It really is much easier than digging up the tubers. Containers do require more water, but it’s no more than any other potted plant.

I remember on a video you did years ago, you talked about how you were trying to relax on a hot summer day. Just as you were comfortable on your couch, the doorbell rang. It was young Aiden wanting to harvest potatoes. What did you do? You harvested the potatoes!

Congrats on the harvest! Do you feel growing them in plastic containers is easier than using fabric pots? I bought a few fabric pots to grow potatoes in, but I'm conflicted as to whether or not use them for potatoes. Seems easy enough to pick up the plastic pot and dump it. Any advice before I start planting?

Yes, we have done both and plastic pots are much easier to empty.

@@BrieThePlantLady Thank you for your advice! I'll use the fabric pots for something else. I have a half whiskey bottle full of lambs quarters seeds that should be growing, so that might be what I try in the fabric pots first 😊
