Oh well, I was close it was a toss-up between the top two in my choice but I chose the second place one. Was fun watching you unpot the tubers and seeing you win the 20 bucks. LOL

Just got my first tuberous sundews, a gunniana and tubaestylis. Really loving the gunniana, it's about 3" tall so far.

Very interesting how different in the sizes the tubers are.I did the same with some of my tubers too,always hard to get all the tubers esp when they are small ;) I just wetted all my sundews now as here the winter season starts. Some are already growing like D.aberrans,tubaestylus, macrantha.... may I ask how cold a typical winter in Australia is (in the part where the tuberous sundews are growing,of course)? The best growing in my setup was always D.andersoniana ;)

It is interesting isn’t it 😁they grow from all the way down south near Melbourne to further north than I live so it’s quite a strange thing, they even grow west so they literally span almost the same distance as New York to Florida to California. Anyway, their temperatures can go down to the low negative I don’t think lower than -10. But the majority stay at around 1-3 degrees Celsius and the ones up north near me it only gets to about 9-10 in winter

First! Wow those tuberous drosera are so interesting. Jett had a drosera collina but the plant randomly disappeared out of the pot one day leaving no trace. it's a mystery... I am currently in Surfers paradise, will contact you later on in the week.
