First guy said everything most important to this scene but a little extra context for good measure, Harvey had already threatened to beat the shit out of Stephen basically for fucking with his case, and then what they realized in this scene was the ultimate fuckery (that he ordered the murders their client had been charged with). So the hurt, confused and guilty look on Donna’s face (she says to Stephen later “you made me someone who slept with a murderer”) pushed Harvey way past the final tipping point. The Donna-Stephen-Harvey arc in that season had dealt a lot with all the complicated boundaries between the personal and the professional, so Donna’s expression crystallized the whole clusterfuck and took Harvey’s reaction to the betrayal to the next level.
