One of my favourite scenes in the show for its incredible acting on the part of Gabriel Macht. Perfectly personifies what it feels like to be in a state of physical weakness when having a panic attack. The red eyes when he turns around and stares out the window, the way he reacts and turns to Jack Soloff and almost stumbles towards him, the way his voice sounds almost out of breath when speaking to him but finally gains his footing and voice to deliver the finishing blow. Just pure master class in acting, direction and just all-around one of the baddest scenes in the series. Wish they had shown when Jack leaves and he goes back to being more vulnerable and Mike is there to have his back and do whatever he needs to do to help Harvey.

Fighting during a panic attack actually helps it. Your heart starts beating like you’ve been running which confuses the brain and panics it. So the best thing to do is to start doing something that makes it beat. Like moving around, light exercise or arguing. Everyone is different and handles panic attacks differently of course but giving your brain a reason for your heart to beat will calm it down and not lead to conclusions like heart attacks which then creates a cycle of panic.

Nothing like seething anger to push down a panik attack.
@hummingpylon Жыл бұрын
A panic attack is impossible to describe until you get one. You can fight through a panic attack if you have to but this will take every ounce of your energy not to disintegrate into million tiny pieces, literally that's how it feels like.

This is my favourite scene because of many reasons:- 1. This scene made me hate Donna more and Love Mike More. Mike truly cared for him. 2. Also, Jessica being a perfect badass cause she backed Harvey. 3. Harvey being a pure class. This man getting a panic attack still pouring water on glass. 4. Also Harvey Destroyed Jack Soloff on his own after Donna left him.
@alexthebadassbadger57493 жыл бұрын
She backed him, but Jessica actually triggered the panic attack here by talking about Donna and Mike leaving him...
@gamingtutorials71023 жыл бұрын
@@alexthebadassbadger5749 Well then.... You might blame his Therapist Paula Agard also! Because She also triggered his Panic attack at first! She then explained it that the only way to deal with this is by talking about it... So Jessica isn't the bad person here if seen closely.
@alexthebadassbadger57493 жыл бұрын
She wouldn't be if she talked about it with compassion. She could have said "Mike won't leave you" instead of snapping at him and fuelling his fears...
@gamingtutorials71023 жыл бұрын
@@alexthebadassbadger5749 That's because Harvey was Blaming her for his doubt on Mike's leaving. Which he should've cleared it with Mike himself.

I stopped watching this show precisely because it gave me panic feelings. The pressure, the ever looming sense of being under attack and the risk of loosing it all. If you've ever been through that or seen it up close, you don't want to watch anything on tv that reminds you of it.

I really like how we see Harvey how he's seeing himself. He's a bit more bloated than usual, sweaty, and he even seems smaller compared to other people while walking down the hall. Really nice attention to detail and really shows what you go through with a panic attack

Sometimes, whilst facing a problem as a man, what do you need is a fight, an aim, a purpose. This does not helps just with panic attacks, but with descouragement, depression, etc. Men don't like to 'share their fellings' as women do to relieve their emotions, but have something else to focus on to stop centring your thoughts over negative thinking. That's why Harvey here manage to find some strenght to react against the other fellow.
